Is there such a thing as shadows for the Star alphabet set? I have both sizes of that font and would love to be able to make shadow letters.

Yes there is. I have the shadows. Star was the first font I ever bought. I have the Upper Case, and Lowercase in both full size and mini plus shadows. You might check ebay or Amazon. I have found retired dies on both but as Cindy says they may be hard to find since it was their first fonts that they came out with.

Star was my first font purchase, also (Waaaaayyyy before a friend told me about Scrapy Land...sorry, Dani!) It took a while, but I eventually acquired all of the classic and mini and shadows.

And when I recently completed my purging of a lot of my QK, it was one of the fonts that I kept. As a matter of fact, I'm using it on a layout this morning!

I might have the uppercase of the classic size. Let me check and get back with you.
