Hello All! I see many names I am familiar with from other boards. Dani, thanks for adding this message board. I have been buying here for a long time and love it! I am from Iowa and trying to stay dry. As a matter of fact, it is raining AGAIN at this time. I have just moved all my scrapbook stash to one big room and I have re-found many items I forgot I even had. It is getting organized and I have began an album of my Mom's 80th surprise party we had for her last month. It is very amazing how many dies I have..not only QK, but Sizzix, Bosskut, Spellbinders... Hope to have the time to come here often to visit. Phyllis ;D

Hello - I'm new to this MB. I'm from Massachusetts. Been married for 15 years. Am a SAHM with 2 kids, 13 & 11. I see a lot of familiar people from another MB I belong to. So, I already feel a bit at home. I've been lurking all day and figured I'd like to join in the fun. Have never shopped from Scrapy Land, but I've been checking everything out and have been happy with what I've seen. I've been scrapping for about 10 years. Have already joined another Quickutz club this month, so I'm going to see how that works out for the next 6 mths. Otherwise I would have joined this one, it sounds great! Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Thanks for the welcome! I think I'm going to like it here very much. My husband on the other hand may not. It seems time flies when I'm online and not much gets done during the "work day". LOL, oh well. A happy mother/wife is a happy home!

Hi everyone,
My name is Maria. I am from Northern California. I was born and raised in San Francisco. My husband and I have been married for 11 years and we have a two year old son, Luke. We also have a fat little Beagle named Mac (named after my love of cosmetics and my husband's love of APPLE) and a hyper Jack Russell named Sophie.
I have been rubber stamping for over 15 years and scrapbooked a little. That is, until my son was born. Since then I have become a full fledged scrapbooker. Documenting every milestone and event. My quickutz obsession started with the QVC TSV (the purple one). Now I have tons of dies. I was trying to collect all the limited edition ones, but I think I'll give up on the halibut and squeeze dies. I also have a thing for the cuttlebug embossing folders.
My name MiaTia came about because my darling little nephews can't say Tia Maria (Aunt Maria in Spanish).
Maria

It is a small world! I was born in Salem, MA. Moved to Beverly, MA when small & lived there till I was 29, married with 2 kids. Husband & I decided, we wanted to buy a house, but couldn't afford to stay on the North Shore. So moved out where he is from Central MA. We've lived in Leominster, MA for the past 10 years. Like it here, city enough, with shopping, highways, etc. But still far enough away from the "big" city, that's what the locals call anything away from here and close to Boston, too funny! My kids have known really no other home, so this is it for them. My husband use to work in Boston, in the financial district, then when we first moved out here, he was driving to Medford every day for about 7 years. Now, he's works out here on the other side of Worcester. A lot better family life now! I do know Marblehead very well and most of all the other surrounding areas. I went to college at Marian Court in Swampscott and also Salem State. I still have family & friends down that way, so I visit often.

Welcome everyone! DH was home over the weekend and there was a lot left to do, so no time for checking out the boards.
Anita, DH and I travelled Norway (and Sweden) by train as backpackers 15 years ago and I totally fell in love with the beautiful landscape. I wish it wasn't that far from us (we've to cross all Germany and Denmark to get there)

Good morning, everyone!I'm Diane, and I live in Northern California with my husband, daughter, and her Himilayan cat. My other daughter lives with her family (including my 2 grandsons) in Redmond, WA. I have a stepson who is assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln, currently in the Persian Gulf. We are right in the middle of the worst fires in California, and have some hazy sunshine this morning...for the first time in about 2 weeks. By sending this post, I will have doubled my message board experience...to 2 posts! I have scrapbooked for about 8 years, at the encouragement of my husband, no less, and have been a QK addict since the day the first squeeze appeared. I recognize many of you from another message board, and feel as though I'm joining old friends. I am looking forward to all of the visiting here, and maybe, just maybe, someday I'll make it to TWO stars! Have a wonderful day (or evening for those across the Atlantic!

I am lookig forward to getting to know and talking to know each one of you more. I just love to make the most of life. ( Watch out for Virginia Gomes she is becoming as misbehaved as Dani these days. Yes, a very, very, very small world!!!!!! Marblehead had a small USCG base in the '60's - it may have been downsized, due to government miltary cuts I can remember going to Salem MA and seeing the witches house when I was little.

YOOOOHOOOOO........ ::::: waving :::::: Hey everyone! Wow, I see many familiar "faces" here! Hi Dani! It's nice to be able to put a face with your name as well. Thanks for creating the forum. Let's see...I've been a scrapper most of my life, but the new and improved archival kind of scrapper for about 6 years now. My QuicKutz addiction is only in it's 2nd year, but I have quite a stash to show for it. Virginia, you are not dreaming. I'm here! LOL.
