Someone needs to smack A's upside the head for that email. They don't play by the rules. IF Dani and other stores can't release what they are until the actual release date, then A's shouldn't either. I swear the next time they call while I am talking to Laura, I am not going to click over. They urk my last nerve. I think I send A's a nasty email every other week. I think when they see my emails by now they just delete them.

Numerous people from another MB sent in email complaints to QK about Archivers releasing details early & the replies they've had from QK state that they've noted the comments but due to privacy & agreements with Authorised stores they could not disclose details of any action they may have taken. Notably, one person on the board said they'd spoken to a QK rep who basically admitted that Archivers have such huge buying power that they can do pretty much what they like! "Archivers - Walmart of the scrapbooking world" We can but hope that QK make a stance - but the question will be will Archivers take any notice! Yes I admit I've bought Archivers Exclusives (Thanks Ellyp) as have alot of us on this board but we don't buy the rest from them - why?? [glow=green,2,300]"CUSTOMER SERVICE"[/glow] So may I take this opportunity to thank the man in charge. The Scrapyland QK Club is one of the, if not the best around & the service we get from Dani is second to none. And although I don't post that much on the board - I read it daily - its a really friendly, informative, fun place to be.

I probably am asking for trouble, but I really do not see the point in all the secrecy about releases. I really do not care who posts or shows it where, as long as on the date it is to be out, I can get it here. Please, no yelling or hating me for this comment..... Just my opinion. Phyllis

Phyllis, I don't think you will be slammed! ;D
I love the excitment of finding out too and I don't have a problem with people posting clues or spoilers either....BUT...
...the problem is WHERE they are posted and they can NOT be posted on Dani's MB because this could get Dani into trouble with Quickutz!
If its a MB that isn't connected with a QK retailer, then usually there is nothing stopping people from sharing!

No you won't get slammed. What different does it make if they show us the pictures now, with us knowing the release is on the 23rd.

Consistency among retailers would be nice, however!

I think the problem is that the other qk retailers get in trouble if they release the info early. Then Archiver's just marches to their own drummer.

I agree. BTW, I *love* QK sneak peeks, but all this mess can be avoided if QK stops with their secret policy, althought, if you think, that probably is part of their marketing plan: to create a big fuzz so when the dies come out we all want to get them. ...don't mind me, I am just rambling here.

If you look at the threads/posts for about a week or so before a release - regular or exclusives - there's a HUGE frenzy of discussions, who's already seen them, whether or not someone likes them/hates them, etc. You'd better KNOW it increases sales!
