I couldn't believe it when I returned from Yellowstone late Sunday night and logged into the computer Monday morning. Dani has a message board!! Oh no. How will I ever have enough time in the day for two awesome QK message boards?? I haven't been able to spend much time reading it yet (FIVE pages already!) but it's fun to see many of the same faces here too. Makes the world seem smaller. Thanks for doing this, Dani!

Hey, Angelique! I've been away from the boards for several weeks. I try to check in to read a bit but life has been a bit over-the-top lately. As of yesterday, I feel like my summer just began. No more traveling (except on weekends now) and no vacation Bible school or scout day camps. I have three little boys and I have just been running too much for the past two months. It will be fun to be able to post a bit more now.

Then do so!!! It is so good to see you here, I was wondering how you were doing!!! Got any good archivers dies lately??

Ugh. Archiver's is killing me! I did my first layaway ever with Dani for the many of the state dies. Just HAD to have them of course! I didn't get all of them but a lot of them so I needed to break up the payments. THEN, Archiver's came out with their new dies. I somehow managed to get enough money together to get the ones I wanted (about two-thirds of them, I think) but now I am seriously worried about July's release. If it's heavily into fonts, I'm OK for now. (Whew!) I was just talking to Wehrlyzoo this morn and she now has me craving all of the country cookie cutter releases. Help me -- I can't stop!

Let me know if you do want any more. My Archiver's still has several but some of the more popular ones are gone. Some of them this time around were OK but they still had enough that I fell in love with. Would you believe I bought that darn Penguin with the party hat when I already own the one with the snow hat? THAT is the definition of addicted if you ask me! ;D

Virginia, Your picture is lovely! You are quite a babe, my dear. You look like the mother of little girls! I, on the other hand, look frazzled and tired. My little boys never stop! By the end of the day I look like I have caffeine jitters and it's just because my nerves are shot chasing after this little testosterone creatures!

The Beach Chair is $30 bucks!! I died when I saw that. I used my 30% off coupon for that one so it helped. I can see if I can find an extra coupon from one of my friends for you to use. It brings the price down to $21. Let me know if you are really interested. I might be able to get those. Of course, the harder part is "Can you afford them?" LOL!

Yeah it is a double die... I forgot about that..
affording them won't be a problem.. I have some money somewhere...
let me think about it. I have to wait and see what the july release will be all about.
Until when will the coupon be valid?

Archiver's put out new coupons for July. It just means me trying to beg one of my friends here for one. That isn't too hard because my two scrapbooking friends are so frugal so they won't use their coupon. I try to follow their example but QK fever sets in and I'm just no good...

By the end of the day I look like I have caffeine jitters and it's just because my nerves are shot chasing after this little testosterone creatures! ;D I have to tell you that looks are deceiving. My little girl: Camilla looks like an angel in pictures but she is a handful, she is just like me when I was little...My Goodness! The only difference is that my mom had all the patience in the world to deal with my adventurers since I was an only child, but I don't have the same energy (or patience) but I try hard to become more like mom. My other daughter:Christina Marie is a very easygoing kid (just like dad) and kinda makes up for the other.

Virginia, At least you can relate to Camilla! That will help you as you face challenging times ahead. You know that old saying by our moms, "I hope you have a kid just like you!" I can't really relate to how boys think so I often feel out of my league. I crave having the frills but not enough to end up with four boys! I love how you know how to add all the fun flashy signs to your posts. They are fun! I was really impressed when you started adding videos too. I feel proud to have mastered how to write on a forum!

ellyp - Welcome! I just wanted to say you are going to welcome those 4 boys when the teen years are here, if they aren't already. I have one of each, 11 & 13. The 11yo is giving me a run for my money some days. Talk about PMS. I think it started around 8yo. I've been saying that she's been in the pre pre pre PMS stage for quite a while now. My son can have attitude, but no drama & tears!

Hello my friend! No wonder I couldn't get you on the phone. Where was I when you said it was time for your holidays?? I had thought July but maybe that is something else that you do every year with everyone. I do hope you had a great time and no problems at all. I have been praying for you my sister as I didn't know what was going on. I must call you and see how things went for you and your family! Welcome to the MB and I am so happy you are here. ;D ;D Laura. <><

Hey Laura! My June was super-filled with two week-long vacations (Mom in Alabama and then Yellowstone), TWO weeks of VBS at two different churches (one was ours, one was a program that was just down the block that the boys have been to now for 3 years) and then the older boy did Scout day camp for a week. I have been waaaaaay overstressed! Glad June is over now so that I can get on to totally enjoying summer. This board is going to be hard to resist. I have been spending way too much time today trying to catch up on posts. I still have to get my house back in order from our trip too! What fun Dani has created for us! ;D

HI Elly, Did the family all gather then. Why was I thinking July? I think you need to take all of July just for resting! I still don't know how you do it. I have a busy summer ahead but Brian is going fishing up north with his Grandpa for 2 weeks, He is volunteering At our church camp for 2 weeks ( Grades 1-8 ). Kiah is going to visit family for 1 week in Winnipeg Manitoba and she is volunteering for 1 week at the church office to help with small jobs and errands needing done. That will keep the two of them busy for some of the time. We are probably just going away for weekends I am working with our seniors at church some of the Summer to get them out, to the store, appointments etc, and I don't know if I told you about my involvement with Project Hannah? If not I will tell you when I can call. I am away at a Prayer summit the rest of the week but there are great media rooms where we are so I can keep connected with everything. I will try to call next week. I will post before then and you can tell me what is good for you. So lovely to hear from you. Laura. <><
