Ages ago Sizzix in the UK made an error on their website & sold a sizzlits alphabet at a stupidly low price. I have to admit I ordered 2, with the intention to keep 1 and sell the other. And I was not alone.
I put them both on Ebay to sell (because so many had ordered them they ran out & sent me a different alpha that I didn't like) and I got an email from someone on an English Message Board berrating me for not offering them to members of the board 1st!!
Firstly, I'd forgotten that I'd joined the MB!! And secondly, what business was it of hers as to what I chose to do with my property - the mind boggles.

..........also meant to say With regards to the Exclusives - we are all painfully aware of just how much they cost, and the sheer number that are appearing would be "financially crippling" (if we were to buy them all) Not surprisingly, we are all asking ourselves whether we really like the dies. It's not meant as a personal jibe at the store selling them. We are just trying to decide is the expense of purchasing yet another exclusive justifiable, do we truly like it and will it actually get used? You are never going to please all of the people all of the time - some of the dies do have limited appeal - but then so do some Quickutz, Sizzix, Boss-Kut etcOh and Bernadette please please be careful when you remove the Duct Tape, don't tear your lips (it hurts)

I read Hilary's message on the General board, and started reading all of your threads and wondering what is going on! I then came to this thread.... If you need help taping your fingers - I'm good at that! LOL - that's another story/another day! I was so surprised that someone would send you a note reprimanding you because you didn't like a die! Not all dies are for everyone and I have never seen the "meaness" on this board! This reminds me of a coworker - she asked me a question two weeks ago, I gave her the "wrong" answer - something she didn't want to hear - she hasn't spoken to me in two and half weeks - no love loss there! Speak your opinions, I know everyone does, we value the diversity! Oh, my goodness. I'm just shaking my head laughing. What are these people teaching their children? To hold grudges?! On another note, I was thinking, this emailer was definitely a coward. Why send you a personal email & not post on this MB? I know we don't like drama, but think about it, why not put yourself out there for all to see?

Speak your opinions, I know everyone does, we value the diversity! And we can do this without stooping to being unkind! Respect goes a very, very long way!
