How to personalize your profile

Change Signature

I am not sure if everybody knows this, I will assume some do as I am sure you belong to other MB, but anyways, in case somone wants to change the signature line, basically the area where I have my picture and the sparklee thingy you need to do the following:

• Click on Profile
  
• Modify Profile
  
• Scroll down to the box where it says signature
  
• Here you need to use a special format like this. You have to type the letters img in brackets [ ] then the complete URL where your image is and then close the brackets by typing /img again enclosed in brackets [ ] Everything should be together, no extra spaces.
  
  You can out more than one thing there.
  
  Change Avatar
  
  The avatar goes on the left side right below you user name. It is a small picture that you can out there. I saw it was explained before in a different thread but lets put it here as well.

Laura, first you need to upload the image somewhere, photobucket, snapfish, etc. Once the picture is there you need the complete URL or the web address where the picture is at.

I did that and all that happened was that I got the URL code showing on my profile??

Another thing is my profile says I am 40? Have I imagined 11 years of my life?

Hi Danica, I tried to go to bed but had to get up! Well I keep saying I am going but it is 6:06 a.m. and my DH is getting up...OOPPPPSSS! I hate to take a sleeping pill but maybe tonight 1/2 of one is called for. I will have the children waken me at no later than noon. Oh! I hope that Russell my Main Mailman doesn't have a parcel that I need to pay duty on!!!! Me thinks I will leave money on the shoe cupboard at the front door just in case. DH is in the shower so perhaps I can sneak into bed! He doesn't start work til 9:30 but he is a morning person. Yes opposites do attract. He likes to do his devotionals early to start the day when nobody else is up. So I am of! Guess I should takes my morning meds first.... that may be an idea! Laura. <><

Most of the time I have problems sleeping.

Never fails when I need to stay up that is when I start to get sleepy and I take advantage. I will run to get into bed.

When I need to sleep, I can't.

Go figure

I really need to read how to change my signature, I think my signature is so boring.

I am as challenged as you. I uploaded the photo to snapfish, but can't get it to show up. I racked up some more posts though typing test and then deleting it about 6 times while I was trying to follow Dani's instructions.
