I've been on three cruises. Holland America - Alaska Inland passage (7 day) Royal Olympic - Greek Isles and Turkey (11 day) Norwegian - Panama Canal (19 day)
They were all wonderful! I like Holland America the best!
I loved our mini suite on Norwegian, we had a full size bath tub to relax in!
Since I'm sandwiched between my mother, daughters, and grandson, it was really nice to have 19 days of luxury!

I have never been on a cruise. I'd get seasick.
But I love Holland Amerika Line because, when you look at the rear end of the ship you'll see the hometown is Rotterdam, and the dutch flag will be flying.

I'm not a vacation gal (helps to buy more dies and not feel guilty now). Home body for sure, Love just being home with hubby and riding with him around on the golf cart/course), playing that game he loves. I try to get a score under my age (not going there unless you read another post) Tho I will admit I told him when we got married, I wanted to go to Hawaii on our 25th and if we can only afford one, let it be me. Needless to say, we didn't make it and neither did I, 35 years coming up in August. He wanted to take me this year...guess I'm still that home body, love STILL being with him and past the point of travel. He's my world and I'm sticking to him.

Hi Cheryle & Angelique! First of all the Poll only let me vote for 1! So I put my favorite -Other - on there. I have sort of been on 3 Cruises.
My first - Angelique, It was the only one I got seasick on. - I don't know if it would really count as it was when we came to Canada. It was a 10 Day crossing on the Empress of Canada! We hit the edge of a hurricane about 1/2 way and boy was I sick.
The other 2 were on the French Azure. I think she is retired now. We did 16 days in the Carribean on the first and the second was 8 days and then we spent 7 days in the Dominican Republic.
We did a great deal of travelling while we were waiting to be blessed with children. We felt that we had better travel before as it was taking to long to have our first ( 12 years ) that by the time they moved out we would be retired. It looks that way too. Not that I am at all complaining. Children are the greatest gift.
We were planning a cruise for our 25th Anniversary but couldn't bear to leave the children. Angelique I am sure you would be fine if you stay in the Mediterranean. Laura. <><

We have gone on one cruise. We went in december of 2006. It was to costa maya, honduras, belize and cozumel. We cruised with Princess and it was ok. We had some issues with the cruise line double charging our discover card, and the day before disembarkment, they said our card was declined. We did not have any other cards with us so the experience was quite frustrating. They of course denied double charging the card. We had to put discover on the phone with them. We went on some wonderful day trips. We went to three different mayan ruins: Coba, Lamani, and chochobian. We also did a tour of Roatan honduras. So maybe it was just the way Princess handled the situation that ruined the whole cruise thing for me. I could really take it or leave it now.

We cruise at least once a year...every January. We cruise on NCL. Freestyle cruising is the best way.

Not yet but a friend and I are going on a Scrapbook cruise in October with our LSS. I believe it's Royal Caribbean. I can't wait! Vicki

No! I Hate boats. I don't have sea legs. I am not a good traveller full stop, but I love to travel The only times I have been out on a boat was in Langkawi, Australia and Mexico - all to get out to coral reefs for snorkelling - couldn't get to them any other way! Oh, and I did ride a ferry to France for a school trip when I was about 11....

We have been cruising from Miami to the Caribbean in February. (That's how I discovered Scrapy Land, I wanted to buy some QK in Miami- I was in Miami just for one saturday - scrapyland closed - , but Dany delivered my order in my hotel that saterday evening! I'm still grateful for that!)
We were on the Norwegian Dawn, freestyle cruising. I liked it very much and we will do it again! Freestyle: you decide yourself in which restaurant you eat and at what time you eat. It's your own choice, every day you can make another choice out of 13 restaruants! I liked it, and will do it freestyle again.

I must live a boring life, I have never been on a cruise, my husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary on May 27, but since I had just had back surgery we just went out to eat. I have been on a gambling boat in CC, Texas and even though I took dramine and put on the bracelet, I threw up every chance I got. I didn't like especially when the boat stopped that was the worst. So I don't think a cruise is in my future, and don't take me wrong I would love to go to one. Betty/navymom05
