OK, I'm getting really excited now, since the Calibur is supposed to ship "late September", and it seems like it's "late September" to me! Can't wait to play with this machine and those big, beautiful dies! Dani, any word on the actual ship date? Gail Nothing yet. Will try to get some info tomorrow.

Bummer. I'm waiting for my Calibur bundle, too.
Like Scrapkratze, though, I can't recall a machine ever coming out on its due date.
I hope there's nothing wrong with the machine and/or dies and that the delay is due to something else entirely.

Well looks like they're playing with the dies on their blog, maybe they are prototypes but I wish companies would push the release dates out further so we'd be surprised when they came in earlier. I should have known it would be delayed. Vicki

Of COURSE I want to play with the GC now! But I just realized that mid-October is only a little more than 2 weeks away...that's better than 2 months!

Haiti, Grand Caymans, Jamaica and Mexico. 7 glorious days, I cannot wait. I need the vacation sooooo bad (it's a fun girls trip). Just booked the excursions, climbing a waterfall, swimming with the stingrays and atv'ing through the rain forest. I will be totally worn out by the time I get back, refreshed but exhausted, lol. Green smiley is right, Diane! In more ways than one - I'd love to go on a cruise but get so seasick, I would BE the green (not-so) Smiley! Hope you'll scrap some of the pix you take, Vicki, so I can pretend I went! Gail

oh goodness, last cruise was 2 scrapbooks, thinking at least that many this time since it is 7 days, lol. I was so afraid the first cruise I went on that I'd get sick but I bought the wristbands that have a little ball that puts pressure on the inside of the wrist that is suppose to prevent being sick. Well, the first night was rocking, the kind where you'd walk down the hall and think you were drunk, lol, but I didn't get sick. Lots of people were. One lady mocked the wristbands but I'm thinking even if it is only my wishful thinking they work, I'm good with that because I wasn't sick and she was. Vicki

We did the swimming with stingrays in February this year on Grand Cayman. It was marvelous. I hope you have a underwater-camera? One of my kids made a great picture of my feet among a lot of stingrays. There was also an official photographer on this trip who made nice, but very expensive, pictures (he copied the ones you bought on a CD, he did it during the boat trip back). We were with six, so we bought a few. Most pictures we made ourselves, three of us had (good) underwater camera's. I know you will like it very much!

Are you climbing the waterfall in Jamaica? I did that there years ago, it was sooooo nice.

Conversation went like this, honey, you know, I will be on the beach one day, climbing the waterfalls one day and swimming with stingrays the next. I can't take my nikon to those places and I have to have pictures you know. I'm going to look around and see what kind of waterproof cameras are out there. I look around online and send him a link of the camera I want. Hubby then says well go ahead and order it and I quickly click on the buy now button, lol. I love, love, love it but I have to say, thinking about dunking it the first time makes me very, very nervous It goes to 33 feet, ha ha, one foot is enough for me, lol. Glad to hear swimming with the stingrays is going to be all I am hoping it to be. I already budget for pictures, lol. I'm a sucker for a lot of the pictures the cruise photographer takes. And yes, climbing the falls in Jamaica. As long as it's not too crowded, it will be a blast (not real good with large crowds but I believe our ship is the only one in port that day). Guess I need to start packing soon huh, lol. Vicki
