If you had to pick your favorite must have Scrapy/Stamp tools/items - what would they be.
For me the things I reach for all the time are: ATG adhesive gun and adhesive QK dies / Silhoutte designs Repositionable tape
What do you reach for?

Okay, I love EVERYTHING I have, just about. But if I had to put together some items quickly for a crop I just heard about, I would HAVE to bring:
1. Epic 6/all QK dies I have 2. My Tote-ally, which contains all my basic tools 3. Lots of paper and adhesives
If I had a few more minutes, I'd bring my cricut and gypsy and my cricut organization book, my favorite paper cutter, my Xyron, a few punches, maybe some stamps . . . Heck, I'd bring it all!

Well I'm like cookiejarscraps......paper/cardstock, inks/copics, adhesives/glue pens and die cutting machine are a given. Now I only count 3. QK dies, spellbinder dies, and stamps . I do have a hard time just picking a few to scrap with. I been spoiled by my family. They have given me scrapping supplies and tools anytime they give me a present. Eugene has even given me scrapping supplies & tools for our anniversaries. (he know I enjoy this hobby so much I get more good from them than anything else.) Nice dinner out and scrapping supplies and this lady is happy as a lark. cat

I didn't know copics were a given! Then I'll add punches to my list of favorites. It's really hard to choose. On a different day, I'd probably pick 3 completely different items.

Ok- I would pick everything that you all have already said But just to be sure: 1. QK dies and Rev with 12" platform 2. Xyron to use with ribbon 3. Omni Grid 6"x12" ruler, Rotory cutter and mat. I use quilting supplies to cut paper. Don't worry- I have a seperate set for cutting fabric. Cindy

cookiejarscraps I was only giving Diane a hard time for giving me a hard time over listing 7 items. I've only just started using Copics....map colors and water color pencils have been my main stamp coloring tools. I've stamped several copies of the same stamp to practice on. I carry these and the copics with me when I know I will mostly likely have to wait for a while some place. Copics and stamped copies are my side kicks for now. So they are a given for me. Cat

Sounds like everyone packs pretty heavy if they are going to a crop. My favorite toolsl are paper trimmer, paper and glue. Plus on and on and on never have enough stuff.

That's why I don't go to crops that much anymore. I like the crops to come to me! That way I have ALL my stuff at my fingertips. And I use quilting tools for scrapbooking, too. I think my Olfa 12 1/2" x 1" ruler is the most used tool in the room. I use it for everything. I used to keep a blade for fabric and a blade for paper, but stopped that. Now I just change the blade when it gets dull. That took a lot of the stress off of me! Michelle

Mila - Crops are fun - you get to meet new scrappers, see what everyone is doing, see products others are using that you've been interested in, etc. BUT, don't count on getting a lot done, since there's so much to distract you! It's more a social event than a chance to accomplish a lot. As Michelle mentioned, it's also tough because you can only bring so much, your cropping space is limited, and it always seems you need some of the stuff you left at home!! I go to crops a few times a year to catch up with my scrapping buddies, but mostly work on my own, in my own studio. If you're interested in a crop, check your LSS, most have a weekly session that's free, or a nominal charge. Gail

When I go to crops, I make up page kits before I go that include my sketch, papers, pictures and embellishments. This allows me to be quite compact when I go. That way I can crop, visit and actually get a little something done.
Cards are a fun thin to do at a crop as well.
I probably attend 1-2 crops a year. Next weekend I am attending one in BC for a fund raiser to Children's Hospital.

Ditto on going to crops- I don't.
I have seen the space allotted for crops and it is not enough!!! I take up the entire table when I scrap!! When I have my sisters over to scrap I put up an extra table for them to use.
It would be fun to go and see what everyone else is doing but I would probably spend too much time visiting and shopping to get anything done. Cindy

I haven't been to a crop in about a year--since we moved here. I don't know anyone who scraps here and the nearest LSS is about 45 minutes away. But I have DD to play with me when the boys are off doing guy things.
Crops are fun and I mostly just attend them for the social aspects. When the kids were young, I attended a crop almost every month. I hear there is a group on base, so I signed up to get more info. I'm trying to get out more, but it's hard with the kids, their activities and DH's travel schedule. It's just that stage of life for me, I guess.
Luckily, I have a great studio to keep me happy. And I watched "New In Town" this weekend while I scrapped. I was home alone and it was nice to have a grown up movie on the TV. It was a pretty good chick flick and it had scrapbooking in it. Yay!

I miss attending crops. When I llived in South Carolina there was a store that had a big crop a couple times a year. I always went and had a great time. I mostly do cards so I would plan what occasion I wanted to complete cards for and take only what I needed to accomplish that. I would also pre-stamp any images and then take all my quickutz stuff. Of course, that was before my revolution bite the dust. Barb

That way I can crop, visit and actually get a little something done. Cards are a fun thing to do at a crop as well. Karen Karen, I used to do the same thing for the two crops I attended a year. I would plan a lot of my pages before going, figuring out page designs, printing pictures, figuring out embellishments. Then I would pack one page design and its "stuff" atop the other so I could get a lot done. Now I do "weekend getaways" with some of my scrapping friends instead of the crops. That way we can determine our own space and share all our tools. And for some reason with these crops I don't plan as much. Probably because I don't pay for them so "getting my money's worth" isn't driving me nuts. Either way is fun!

Love weekend getaways. On Oct 1st, I am attending a 3 day event - the BC Crop for Kids - to raise money for the Children's Hospital.
In Nov. Pat and I are going to another weekend event and everyone get a 5 (maybe 6) foot table to themselves - I love that one

If you had to pick your favorite must have Scrapy/Stamp tools/items - what would they be. Karen This is a tough question! I am assuming the computer, paper, stamps, dies, ink pads & copics are NOT tools! They are vital to crafting! So, my top 3 tools are: 1. Rototrim paper cutter 2. ATG's (pink, yellow & red) 3. my stamp positioner one tool leads to another!!!!

My top 3, for today :
Distress inks and blending tool My dies and tools (you can't use one without the other right??) Stamps and Copics (they must count as one ha??)
Right now I'm having so much fun playing with my copics and I think I've used distress ink on all my latest projects too =)
