some of the Diva meet-up pictures I took this past weekend. Looking back thru the fun I had, and putting faces with names for these 11 Divas - makes me think we should really start brainstorming a retreat. Don't you think that would just be SO MUCH SCRAPPY fun!?!?! My mind is racing with all of the possibilities - classes, crop time, challenges, games, staged photos, SL warehouse at our disposal, LOL - my mind is spinning! We'll have to start thinking about it after the big MOVIN' ON UP date of October 1st!

A Retreat that would be so much fun but I doubt if my husband would allow me to go. I would just have to see when it was. You look like you had so much fun. I would have to drive which I do not mind because all my stuff would not fit on a plane with the weight limit on luggage Deborah K.

I was talking about going to a retreat at SL warehouse. Eugene asked, "where is SL in Florida? Miami ?" "Yes." I said. Michael said the only problem he seen was getting there with my "stuff"without the airline charging a fortune. I laughing said it was getting home with all the "STUFF" I bought at SL that would be the problem. He said go to Fex and ship it home it would cost less than the airlines....then he laughingly said I guess you could always ship your "stuff" to Dani and then ship it back home. I said, Well I can pear it down to the bare necessity, he started to laugh...that's what I meant Mom....I've seen what you think is the bare necessity...the plane's not that big!!!....... .the little tease might be right. Put me down for the trip!!!! It would be incredibly awesome to meet everyone in person!!! I could ship stuff to my mother's ahead of time and have her send it back after I leave. My husband is going on 2 hunting trips this year so I will get a lot of perks out of that!!! Miami in the late fall/early winter sounds wonderful!!!! Cindy

OK, ladies! We need to keep this idea alive... I'm thinking the best time would be after the first of the year, since Holidays are closing in fast, and I'm betting we're all gonna be pretty busy for the next few months. Does this make sense to you, or is a different time frame better?? Let's hear what you think! Gail

Diane, Gee, let me think about it. Shovelling snow or scrapping in Miami. What to do, what to do? I'm already crying at the thought of another cold winter. What were the pilgrims thinking??? On the other hand, today is a gorgeous day. We just got back from apple picking. I have my layout all planned! We had cider donuts and are having apple pie for dinner tonight (and not much else!) It's been good baking weather. In the past week, I've made 5 batches of banana bread, 4 batches of cranberry bread, 8 dozen chocolate chip cookies and apple cobbler. Every event I had this week had a "bring something to share" request! Michelle

Oh! Fresh picked apples..... delicious.....love the crisp juicy taste of fresh picked apples and fresh made apple cider.... heavenly. There's nothing better than the tastes and smells of fall....except all the colors! I think it's my favorite time of year.
Apples, oranges, cinnamon, cloves, and etc...............
Hugs Cat

I have a huge pot of applesauce on the stove and a pie in the oven. The house smells divine! Only 35 more lbs of apples to go... The kids want to go back again, but I told them they had to eat all of these first. I said the same thing last year and the little turkeys ate 30 lbs of apples in 2 weeks! At least they're healthy!
