Ok, anyone have any good crock pot ideas for next week? Or really super quick one pot recipes? I want to be prepared for next week and am making a dinner plan for each night. Can't wait! Hugs, Mila

Mila, try checking the "Recipe Corner" section. Susan has a dynamite recipe for "French Dip Sammies" in the crock pot, and if I do say so myself, my "Saucy Chicken" is pretty good... I'll try to dig out some more recipes this weekend! Gail

I cooked two beef roasts today. 1 1/2 of the roast I am cutting up and making a HUGE pot of vegetable beef soup. I just dump. I add carrots, potatoes, V-8 tomato juice, onions, celery, low-sodium beef broth, and a small head of shredded green cabbage. It will be the first soup of the year so we won't mind eating for a few days. Will make the soup on Saturday. Deborah

Oh, I love Papa John's! I miss them--I haven't had one of their pizzas in over a year.
Rumor has it that Domino's will deliver here, but I've never tried. I just have some quick meals that I will have ready to go. It's crazy next week with open houses (2), a football game, something with Drama club... I'm sure hot sandwiches will make it onto the menu. It's fall!

We USED to have a Papa John's. It was good pizza. But the area where I live is swimming in pizza and Chinese food restaurants, and many of the pizza places are local and have been here for years. So Papa John's didn't last very long. Sigh!

What about Papa Murphy's? That's my favorite. They make a Chicken Mediterranean with basil that is so good! We don't have those here, either. Michelle

Michelle Michelle- I think that is the place I meant, I always get the two mixed up-- Papa Murphys is place you bake yourself, right? That is the one I love. There Chicken Garlic pizza is good too with the ranch dressing sauce. Oh I need to get me some Cindy
