I also received my iRock today, but no time to play. I'm chaperoning the 6th grade field trip tomorrow, so maybe Saturday will be play time.

Mt. Wachusett. They are participating in a team building/leadership seminar. DS did something similar in 5th grade and they all had a blast. It will be a long day, but I know it will be lots of fun. And then the weekend will be here. And it's a long weekend. Michelle

ladies - you are all going to love this little tool! My daughter walked into my studio this morning holding a new t-shirt. {The football boosters had t-shirts made up for the entire marching band - isn't that the sweetest thing ever???} It said "game day" and "play with pride"...etc. A pretty basic shirt with their school logo on it and big funky grungy print! But also a pretty masculine looking, footballish shirt! So she says - "uh moooommmm...could you fix this shirt up with your new toy?" How could I not... ba-da-bling...ba-da-bling...ba-da-bling! Trust me, in under 15 minutes I had that entire t-shirt sparkling like there is no tomorrow! SO FUN! I'm just waiting for the first text message..."Uhhh, Mrs. K....after school today...?" HAHAHAH!!! FUn to be able to make the 17 year old smile at 5:45 in the morning!!! ENJOY ladies...have fun - and if you make something you LOVE make sure you share it with us!!!!

Oh, DD is all over this thing! She has big plans. I'm not sure that she will wait until tomorrow to play. But the rule is--not without me there!
I'm am so stinking pooped after that field trip. There were 4 courses from easy to "challenging." Guess which one DD chose? It was 2 miles STRAIGHT uphill without a goat path to follow. Streams, rocks, boulders, roots, branches--eh. I jumped over it all. And my thighs are screaming with the uphill climb! It was fun, but I'm already taking vitamin M (advil.) ;D
I walk every day. You would think this would be a piece of cake. After all, a bunch of 11 & 12 year olds were fine. I bought pizza on the way home. And I'm not moving from this chair!
Cindy, how did your day go?
And I want to see some bling!
Michelle

Fine Michelle but not as fun as yours was. My group did not want to look at anything, they just wanted to shop!!! Of course the first place I took them was the Home Arts building They were not as impressed as I was. 6th grade is the beginning of the DRAMA!!! I am glad its over. Cindy

Susan,
Your story needs a picture to back it up! I love the idea of blinging up a boring old school tee.

My IRock and all of the "sparkly stuff" is sitting here, and I can't seem to find the time to go play! This has been a very hectic week (including a daughter who woke up yesterday with intestinal flu), and I can't find 5 minutes to just try out the new toy! What's more important...housework or bling ?

Same here. It's been a busy week and now the family seems to think I need to grocery shop tomorrow. But it's payday and anyone knows that you don't go to the commissary on payday! So I'm going to stay home and grocery shop early Saturday morning.
So tomorrow I play! (And do a bit of cleaning. The dog hair is winning!)

Michelle Ah, yes...grocery shopping on Fridays...AAAARRRRGHHHHHH! In my lowest prices/best products supermarket, I do my best to get there between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., no matter which day it is, right after I take my daughter to work. Any time after that, and especially on Fridays, means that I have to navigate my way around the store and through the checkout lane with the elderly and those who have just gotten their government assistance cards reloaded at 8:30. I don't have the best of patience for this...I wonder if Dani could open an online supermarket!

Dania, you are too funny! Plus love your new picture...I know, I need to get mine up, but I need DH to take a new one - hopefully on a day I'm looking thin! . Seriously, Dani should consider offering online everything, then we'd all have more time to scrap! Gail

Well, I braved the commissary after all. It was fine--hardly anyone was there. And on a payday on a Friday afternoon??? Well, I was happy that it was quiet!
Now I'm off to play...

That is why we do our grocery shopping at 9PM. The only problem is that the only lane open then is the 15 items or less!!! I will wait a few minutes but then unload my goods on the track anyway. If they did not want me too they would have opened another lane And it doubles as Date night Yes we live a wild life!! Cindy
