Pat Burrell was a mid-season acquisition; the Florida team just cut him loose, and Giants picked him up. He's made my DH very happy!
And I suppose we can call Bobby Cox the "ejection king"! (Even though the call was wrong!)

Phyllis...I just showed DH your banner, and I now know what I'm doing tomorrow morning! (Gathering up the black and orange cardstock and the pennant die this evening...) Too bad we can't adjust the pom-pom colors on the "cheer" smilie!

I always liked Pat Burrell, was sorry to see him leave the Phillies.
Haha, Bobby Cox ejected. The Phillies manager has had his share of ejections this year. I always think it is funny when they get ejected.
Have fun making your banner. They go together relatively quick and really turn out nice. I just used my Tim Holtz tiny attacher to staple the individual pennants on and then I could still slide them back and forth once I had it up on the window. Since I was putting it up when no one was home that really helped!! Hey, since your teams colors are black and orange you can decorate one side with Halloween stuff!! lol

Phyllis, that's a great suggestion for the banner. I use staples, too. Just like Phyllis said, then you can still slide the pennants back and forth along the string/ribbon. And if you don't have the tiny attacher, get thee to a store now. I love that thing. It's a really heavy duty stapler and the staples are--shocker--tiny. Another coupon purchase at Mike's. I think this should go on the wish list for Dani's new store. And if you want colored staples, you can color them with a sharpie or copics. Great idea, Phyllis! Michelle

I love your banner, Phyllis! Made one for Halloween, and am getting ready to put it together, thanks for the tip about staples. And Michelle, I love that tiny attacher, too. Wish Dani would carry it, and the refills! Gail

I love those itty-bitty staples...what would we do without them?
