This thing is horrible. I felt bad and then I felt better and now I feel worse. Couldn't sleep last night because of stupid tickle in my throat and now I can't breathe again. How can you get better and then get bad again? Everyone feel better as you know us women do not have time to get sick!

Dania,
Have you tried ocean nasal spray? It works great to open up the passages. It is just saline.
Sometimes we start to feel better and then push ourselves to get back into our routine because we are behind on chores and things. Then you wear down your immune system and the cold takes over worse than before so rest my friend and get better.

Not that kind of pot! Think tea pot kind of pot. Check out the YouTube videos. Gross, but it does the job! They sell them on amazon.
Karen and Chili, explain the Canadian Thanksgiving to us Yankees. I didn't realize there was such a thing until Karen talked about it.

canadian thanksgiving is basically the same as yours, just in early oct! ) we change it every year to make a long weekend out of it cause if i remember right - american is always nov 25??? but lots of people do the turkey, sweet potatoes, etc, just like Christmas some people do ham.... it is usually pretty much the end of harvest everywhere up here so it is a celebration, lots of smaller communities have 'harvest' meals, open to whoever wants to come [for a price to raise money] and the ladies in the communities donate, make, serve etc there is just danny and me this year so he wanted egg rolls and they freeze nice and so does the cheesecake so..... we used to have people over - up to 16 sometimes but have moved into a tiny house and 6 at the table is lots!! but not this year - we are going to spend the day outside in this beautiful weather instead ;D i did buy some sweet potatoes just in case he decides he wants a casserole but i think we will just end up making fries out them, but that's ok! i like the fries WAY better! hope this helps

Chili, I live in a small community of around 6500; but it's not unusual to find fields of different crops smack dab in the middle of our communities. Our house has cotton fields within 1/2 mile on three sides of us. Cotton is the main crop raised in our area, about 50 miles north of here corn and milo are the main crops. We have cotton gins on the edges of our area communities. (Cotton fields is what they are spraying)We are called farming communities. (Littlefield is famous for our denim mill and Waylon Jennings; we have people from all over the world come to visit our denim mill ) Some people still raise chickens and sometimes small goats in their backyards. Until 911 it wasn't unusual to see shotguns and 22 rifles in gun racks in pickups parked in our kids parking lot at high school. If you want to see a movie or go to a mall to shop you drive at least a hour or more. That means if you need craft supplies(even glue) or clothes (even socks & undies) you drive..... Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians..Hope you have a great day!!! The ocean spray does help! Michelle your pot thingy is something I will have to check out. cat
