What ink works best on fabric? I am hoping to use an ink pad to stamp an image on fabric...

Pigment inks, used with embossing powder, and then heat-set also work.

Tsukineko used to make Fabrico ink pads, which were especially designed to stamp on fabric, but I can't find them anymore on their webpage, only Fabrico markers. I don't know, if they'd work for stamping.

Tsukineko's website indicates that Versacraft ink can be used on fabric. (Think maybe this is their replacement for Fabrico). Maybe Dani could carry this?? I've never used Stazon on fabric. You can also stamp with fabric paint, then heat set if indicated on the product. (Be sure to wash stamp off before paint dries!) Another tip that saves time - you can heat set in a clothes dryer, instead of ironing each piece. Have fun! Gail

I've distressed the edges of fabric with regular old ink for cards. But it wasn't a stamped image and I didn't need to wash it.
I think pigment or dye ink would bleed if you stamped an image. But it would work if you wanted to distress.
Just another piece of info...
