Hey Cindy,
They can be any shape you wish. As to the size I would say big enough to look nice as a wall hanging and not too big that you can't mail it.

Maybe it's the "early" hour here in CA, or I'm just S-L-O-W this morning, but does making a pennant mean just one "triangle/pennant" piece for each participant, or an entire 5-6 piece hanging pennant for everyone?

I'm glad someone asked the question about the number of penants or I would have been doing 7 or 8 penants per person. Barb

Barb, I was thinking the same thing! And I was still going to do it. I love making banners. You get to be so dimensional and add lots of embellies!

I am "btt'ing" this thread, because Feb. 1st is really not that far away! Some of us may need a useful activity after we watch Phyllis' daughter's band in the Rose Bowl Parade, and all of our family members are engrossed in roughly a bazillion football games!

HI, Cindy, I'm having fun, too! I've just about finished my prototype - though I keep adding stuff, so who knows?? I'm doing my assembly line this weekend. It's SO nice to work on something with a spring theme with all the cold, snowy weather we've had! It gives me hope that Spring will eventually be here!! Gail

I have the "basics" done on my pennants, and have set aside this afternoon and Monday to pay attention to the detail work.
I've realized that I'm very grateful that we're not making 25 of these! ;D

Well, I've thought of it. Does that count? I've got Val Day on the brain right now!

Absolutely it counts, Michelle! I usually design my projects in my head when I can't sleep - it works better for me than counting sheep. ;D Once it's thought out, half the work is done! And Diane, believe me, if we were making 25, my pennant would be a LOT more basic than its turned out to be!!! Gail

Gail I "design" in the middle of the night, too..my DH is just grateful that I don't turn on a light and make sketches! As for the pennants, I keep thinking of one more thing to make them better/cuter, or just alter an idea! I glad there's a deadline, or they'd never get done!

I DO TOO!!! I much rather fall asleep thinking of scrapping than say the taxes or something!!! (which has been on the mind alot lately And even with having the plan made up in my mind it still took me all day to finalize the details. 2 down, 5 to go -- that is unless I decide to add something else which is always a possibility until it gets boxed up Can't wait to see everyones designs Cindy

You guys! It's amazing how alike we all are. ;D My pennants would all be done by now, but yesterday I started thinking (always a dangerous proposition, LOL) and adding, and trying out new stuff! Like you Diane, I finally stop when I run out of time! Gail
