Hey Ladies, you all are way ahead of me. I haven't even figured out what I am going to do but it is fun to start thinking of spring and the warmer weather.

Question - are we putting our pennants on anything to let them hang individually, or are we strictly making the pennant and leaving the tabs open so they could all be placed on one ribbon, string, etc. by the recipient?? I had been thinking of putting mine on a dowel with ribbon to hang it, but then I wasn't sure what everyone else was planning. Help! Gail

I hadn't thought of a dowel, etc.
I did bend the tabs over, and stapled them (using the itty-bitty TH Ideology staples), but leaving enough room to thread ribbon, etc. through them.

I vote for designer picks! If you think it needs something, go for it. If you want to leave the option open, leave it.
All I can think of right now is Val Day. I think I need to make a Val banner and get it out of my system. Then maybe I can think about spring. An hour ago, it was snowing clumps of snow the size of my fist. It's raining now. On top of 2 feet of snow. It's going to freeze into one huge block and we will have the next ice cap here in Massachusetts!

Michelle, If you are being inspired by Valentines Day you should make a pennant for that holiday. I am a strong believer in if it is that much on your mind you should use that inspiration.

Hi, my name is Michelle and I can't stop making banners.
What can I say, I just love them! And the best part is that once you've made room in your decor for a seasonal banner, you really need to replace it with the next season. But then, I keep giving mine away. I need to make one and keep it! ;D

I had planned on leaving the tabs open so everyone could decide how they want to use it. They may want to hang it or use it in a LO. I have really enjoyed making these pennants and totally want to make more!!! Cindy

I like the idea of designers choice. I really don't like the look of the dowel. I'll leave mine without a hanger. I'm thinking I might like to string them all together for a Spring banner. Diane, isn't that "Tiny Attacher" the best? Michelle - make that Valentine Banner! You need to listen to your inner scrapper! ;D Gail

OK- I am finished Now I have to send them out. I used the Silhouette, Revolution, Epic, Sewing machine, 4 kinds of adhesive, Quickutz and 1 little Spellbinder die. I tried to use what I had on hand and not buy anything. Cindy

It took me a while to figure out what to make, too...and a few nights (when I was awake at 3:00 for no reason) of revising/adding to/removing from my original idea. What do you picture in your mind when you say or hear the word "Spring"?

Barb, pull out some papers and flip through your dies. You will find something to inspire you. And go from there. Don't let these show offs intimidate you! You can do this!

Barb - Michelle and Diane are giving you great advice. This swap is about having fun! Just go with whatever reminds you of Spring. Use your favorite colors, papers, dies and embellies. If you make something that pleases you, that's what counts, and it will be a beautiful finished product - guaranteed!! Go with your creative spirit, and don't sweat it, hon! Gail

Barb,
I haven't figured out mine yet either. Don't worry about making the pennants. Something will come to you.
What size pennants did you all decide to make?
Dawn

...What size pennants did you all decide to make? Dawn I used the two larger dies from the original pennant release (the larger one just fits in the Epic).

I used that size, too, Diane. Wanted to have a larger surface to work on. Can't wait to see everyone's projects! Gail

Dawn...you have a PM!
Also...
Are you sure that $4.00 will be enough for postage? If we all load up our pennants with lovely embellies, they might be a bit heavy!
And, I'm assuming that we should mail all 7 of the pennants to you, so that you don't have to do a lot of sorting.
Anything else we should know? Thanks, Diane/casunflower

After talking to Diane, I realized $4.00 might not be enough for shipment. So if you all could do me a favor and sent what it costs for you to send your package to me. Hopefully, that works for you all.

They haven't arrived yet but I will look out for them today. We had a lot of snow and it has slowed down the mail system so that might be why it isn't here yet.
We are suppose to get another huge storm tomorrow. Uugh!

Dawn,
Yay. Thanks for letting me know you received them. Just a note - I only sent 6, and kept one for myself.
