I am, i started on Nov. 1 and even got some egg nog last week. This is my favorite time of year, so I want to take advantage of it every day. LOL It is weird listening to Christmas music when the weather in Chicago is in the 70's. Hugs, Mila

Christmas is my favorite time of the year, but I don't listen to Christmas music until Dec 1st! Then it is Christmas all the time to New Years.

I usually make myself wait till November 1st but Lady Antibellum (sp) came out with a Christmas cd at Target a week or so before Halloween. I had to have that and have been listening to Christmas music ever since! I just love it.

Nope, Christmas time starts the week before the first Advent sunday, and I refuse to put up Christmas decorations or listen to Christmas music earlier. It's enough to have all that stuff in the stores and advertisements beginning mid October. Here in Germany Christmas time ends on epiphany(Jan 6th)

no Christmas/Holiday music for me or my family until the Saturday after Thanksgiving!
we have a tradition that Friday after Thanksgiving is everyone's "personal" day - I scrapbook, hubby watches football, the kids do what they do.
But then on Sat. after Thanksgiving I wake everyone in the house up with the Hallelujiah Chorus bright and early! We start decorating and cleaning and rearranging - it's a crazy day but one we look forward to!
Right now though, I cringe when I hear holiday music in the stores already! But you all enjoy it - I'll just plug my ears!
LOL

And I love Christmas music at home, but NOT in the stores, yet. Probably a little hypocritical of me, I know!

Like Susan we wait until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Tree and decorations go up. I'm not ready to see Christmas decorations in stores unless it's at craft store. Crafts stores are places to get ideas and buy supplies to make decorations. We keep our tree up until after the New Year. Cat

No, not yet - sooooo not ready for that yet. I really enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday - getting together with family and being thankful for the year and all the blessings we have had. After that, bring out the red, green and jingle bells.

I've never heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's rendition of it - we listen to The Cathedral Choir and Orchestra and they are just divine! I have been known to belt out a stanza or two!!!

NO! No Christmas music until.... CHRISTMAS! Movies either! In our house, we do things similar to Susan. The first thing we do is put up lights after Thanksgiving. It's always a huge job because we move so much. DH is in charge of that little gem, but the kids "help" as well. I bring out the CDs and DVDs that weekend, along with the Christmas games and the Little People nativity set. The rest of the decorations slowly get put up over the next week or two. The tree goes up around the 10th. We leave it up until after the Epiphany, so I don't want to put it up too early or it gets too dried out. I make special gourmet hot chocolate and put on Christmas carols. The kids love this, as every year they get an ornament and they like to see how their tastes have changed over the years. We just do one tree and I have trains, Barbie, Buzz Lightyear and fairies all hanging on my tree. Michelle

Oh, I've started shopping! That doesn't count as celebrating--it's just smart! Michelle

Well, I am happy to say that Pat and I have finished shopping for the Grandchildren and their parents. We see the grandchildren at Thanksgiving, so we celebrate with them then.
