What's everyone working on now?? I'm getting set to do some little treat projects for my staff for Easter this weekend. Think I'll be mass-producing ( I need 18 of them!) the Slip 'n' Slide card Susan showed on the blog... How bout the rest of you? Pages, cards, projects? Would love to hear and see what's up! Gail

Sadly, not too many projects right now. Life is busy. I am hoping by the weekend to get some Easter cards underway. I have some fun new shapes to try.

It is hard to find time to scrap! Weekends are when I get the most done, but as the weather improves, outdoors calls, and I don't scrap as much. I'm glad that Easter is pretty late this year, so I have more time to finish my projects. Have a few cards done, so that's a start! Gail

I'm finishing the tag book that I made for my grandson's first birthday...now that I have the pictures of him demolishing a small cake last week! Then...I'm trying to decide whether to print and scrap the pictures that I took of all three grandsons, some more layouts from our trip last fall, or getting busy on a few Easter goodies. Perhaps I'll do some of all... (So many pictures and paper, and so little time! ;D)

Diane, please share some pics of your tag book! Susan, I can't wait to see what you cook up! Crafty Girl, hop on over to the blog for some enabling inspiration.
I'm working on some stuff for Susan today. Finished one project and have two more in progress. I've been making a lot of cards lately and I'm not sure why. I'm either on a roll or in a rut!

Ah, Michelle some enabling and inspiration sounds good. What I need though is some time! I think (hope) over the weekend. And I am sure you are on a roll, and not in a rut!!! Cards are a good thing!

I made me complete the journaling on a couple of pages over the last weekend - feels great to put them into an album finally There's another page based on starting blox #5 where I was stuck on the (a bit emotional) journaling. Got that, but now the diecut circle to go underneath the title "disappeared" If was from a scrap of paper and I'm seriously considering taking apart half of my scraproom to find that darn thing... Last week I made two cards, I'd like to share: A birthday card for a friend, who loves to travel all over the world: and one to go with some sweets for a friend I hadn't seen for a while: Oh and I got a big envie of developed pictures - lots to scrap for the next weeks, so I'm looking forward to Susan's new Starting Blox!

Thank you!
The VW bus is a clear stamp from Impression Obsession. They have quite a bit of nice clear sets *hint, hint, hint, Dani*
Susan, I have to agree about the card bases. This is the first time I used the set since I got it on clearance and I couldn't believe how quickly that card came together.

currently doing NOTHING Trying to get my scraproom finished, just took some time today to make my own clip it up, saw a video on how to make your own and went and got the supplies today and have to say, I really like it, plus it's fun to say you made it yourself. So I guess technically I did do something, lol. I ran out of pictures, meaning I need to place a large order at shutterfly real soon. I would really like to get started on my Germany/France book but I have to get my room finished and I think get the computer out of the room so I can actually work and not play, lol. Vicki

Barbara, I LOVE your cards! Nice job!
Vicki, I spent a bunch of time last week getting pictures printed. It's such a long tedious process--I avoid doing it and then I have months of pictures backed up! And think of how nice your room will be when you have it all set up. You can do it!

I need to make cards or Easter stuff for my family. But I can seem to come up with any ideas. When I'm in these slumps I usually end matching papers. Solids with prints, sometimes even making card fronts to use later to embellish with stamped images or die cuts. I know......sounds crazy and even backwards, but it works for me. I do hope my creative juices start flowing again or else I'll have more card fronts than I know what to do with. Happy creative crafting ladys Cat

well Cindy, I won't repeat what I'd like to print our taxes on, lol, so I'd say yellow would be tame, lol. Not ready to write that huge check and hubby will be in a bad mood for a week but they aren't getting a penny till the last minute. I'd say if they're going to shut down the government, and refunds will be suspended, they should suspend you having to send in payments, lol. Gotta laugh or I'd cry and never stop Vicki

Cindy, you have my sympathy! What better way to shake the IRS blues than scrapping a page? Maybe even one about the trials and tribulations of tax time! Reward yourself with some playtime, hon. You've earned it! Gail

Definitely! Just this week, I did a LO from 2005, 2010 and then 2000. I skip around a lot--that's the main reason I stopped using Creative Memory albums. I love the albums, but couldn't handle the pressure of getting the pages out of order!

I quit trying to scrapbook in order a long, long time ago. Like many of the Divas, I work on whatever appeals to me at the time. I'm still working on layouts from our midwestern trip last fall, putting them in a scrapbook in no particular order (but fully intending to get them in proper sequence when I'm done).
I feel like my layouts look nicer, if I'm working on whatever interests me at the time. Like Michelle, I'd be very distracted by the notion that I have to do a certain layout "next".

Chili, please share a picture of your projects when you are done with them.
I'm considering getting a better printer. Ours is only a year old, but it does a horrible job printing photos. But Susan has been encouraging me to use fewer photos on a LO and sometimes I would like the option of printing up a photo at 10 pm. For some reason, I do my best thinking after everyone is in bed!

Canon Pixma {MP640} my best at-home-picture printer ever! It's my 3rd Pixma - I won't ever buy a different one. Great ink-usage, back feed by-pass tray so I can easily print on cardstock and photo paper and my newest one is blue-tooth so it's not wired in to anything so when my girlfriends come over they can print on it too! And the only paper to use - HP Premium Plus Photo Paper in Soft Gloss - it's kind of inbetween true matte finish and glossy and I LOVE IT! I print 99.9% of my own photos here in my studio, and I've done a bunch of trial and error tests with other papers. HP is the bomb! I wait until Staples has a BOGO FREE special and I stock up {heads up - they usually have one right before Mother's Day!}
