DSLR Cameras

we just got a canon tr1 and we have a sony [about 5 yrs old] the sony takes AWESOME outside pics, has a fantastic zoom but not so great on inside pics that is why we decided to use our 'points' to buy the canon...... now of course i 'need' a zoom lense i have not taken any lessons yet either but a fellow in town is going to start a bit of a camera club where he will share his knowledge and so will others and some of us will learn )
i think you need to try them out in the store etc.......... and go with what you are comfy with and then don't look at others new cameras!!!! cause just after we got the canon, a fellow college bought the nikon 7000!!! so but i am happy with both of what we have

thanx - maybe if i actually learn to use it correctly i might be able to help out with some questions!!! but don`t hold your breath!!!!!! these digital thangs seem to take me longer!!! haven`t even tried a digital page!!!! ;D son thinks i am a ssslllloooowwww learner!!!
ps - the sony is a super steady shot dsc-h5 with a 12x zoom and then some sort of digital on top of that see!!! ) a mere 6ish years and i still don`t know how to work it!!! oh well - i retire in 12 years!
