from a meeting/visit to the Spellbinders office! OH LADIES, all I can say is WOWWWIEEEE!! Stacey Caron, the owner of Spellbinders, gave me a personal tour of the new Edgeabilities line. TOTALLY AMAZING...these new die-sets are going to blow your minds!!! I took a handful of pictures, trying to mind my manners and not flash in everyone's faces every 2 seconds, and I will post them on the blog this afternoon. Fave new Nestie shape - POSTAGE STAMP! Oh goodie - it's huge, but will run through your Epic Six just fine. Mondo big - and so dang adorable. The samples they had were just darn FUN!! The new Nestie Circles {butterfly, star, heart, tear drop and picot} are lovely. The Picot is simply STUNNING when just layered in alternating colors. BEAUTIFUL! The Spiral flowers - the dimension is amazing with the embossing and they are GORGEOUS when cut with different flocked, glittered or textured papers. So plan a garage sale, start selling your cucumbers and tomatoes, or figure out which bank is the most vulnerable...HAHAHA...because the next few months with Spellbinders are going to ROCK!!!

Susan, can't wait to see your photos! I just placed my second pre-order with Dani. I've got the feeling I'll end up ordering them all, but it's easier to take in small batches! LOL I really loved the winter CHA release, but this beats that one hands down! Maybe I could sell my hand-made cards - after all, I think my dies should have to work for a living, too! If they want to be "fed" the best paper, and run through the finest die-cutting machines on spanking new mats, they need to start earning their keep!!

okay ladies, which bank is most vulnerable, lol. I want the majority of these. I am working on hubby, my birthday is in September, I think a big order of these would be a nice birthday present. Cause really, don't I deserve it, lol. Vicki

Absolutely - prescriptions for everyone! Dies are therapeutic (unfortunately, they're also addictive!)! Gail Fortunately it's one of those addiction that's healthy for you as well as being therapeutic......It doesn't hurt you or anyone else, it keeps you mind very busy being creative. Keeps us busy so we aren't roaming the street getting into trouble.......it keeps me from wasting money on fancy shoes, clothes, hair- dos and dinning out at fancy restaurants with rich fatty foods. Give me more time and I'm sure I can come up with more "Good for Us" excuses. Cat

you're on a roll Cat... all of those dining outs and shoe shopping take gasoline, so this is GREEN in order to do those things you also need to be showered so now we're also saving WATER plus our animals don't have to stay home alone - we get to be here with them so we're also BEING KIND TO ANIMALS (how'm I doing? )

Great points Susan! What about in-between snacking........can't do that and craft.....sticky & greasy fingers doesn't work with cardstock and pretty papers.....So we save money on snacks and save those calories for healthy meals......That's two biggies at our house. it! Cat

Absolutely, Karen! And of course, ordering from Dani is very GREEN - no driving around looking for supplies spewing out pollution from our cars and wasting gasoline! Saves time, too,,, so there's more time to scrap! Now, if only scrapping were aerobic, and I could get a workout doing it.... Do you suppose lifting my Rev onto my desk and turning the handle counts??? Gail

... Do you suppose lifting my Rev onto my desk and turning the handle counts??? Gail I sure hope so! Or maybe moving a fully-loaded EZ Storage Binder to my desk would work? ;D

Of coarse Gail turning the handle counts.....especially if you switch hands it helps with the "SAGGY ARM SYNDROME" Casunflower lifting the REV and your fully-loaded EZ storage binder helps with those muscles too. Sorting and matching pretty papers and cardstock is a great exercises for that gray matter our brains, not to mention our eyesight as well. Cat

Now Cat, don't you jump on that band wagon! You are supposed to be on my side! I have athletic shoes. And I wear them daily for my workout. Then those things get kicked in the corner until tomorrow. Today alone I wore 3 pairs. (But I'm barefoot now! ) I love shoes!

Cat--I can hook you up with some good brands. I had plantar fasciitis shortly after DD was born. Try telling a new mom to stay off her feet, plus it was Christmas time. I learned VERY quickly to wear good shoes. So now I totally justify paying a bit more (just a bit ) for the good ones!

My shoe of choice are flip flops!!! and they are usually cheap. Although, leave it to me to fall in LOVE with a $60 pair of flip flops!!! I have been searching all summer for another pair that comes close but no luck Still I refuse to spend that much on FLIP FLOPS!! Thats a couple LC or SB dies. My old ones are just fine!! Cindy

How many of us belong to the "Plantar Fasciitis Club"?
The shoes that saved me/my feet/my back are Crocs, which come in many, many colors, and I've always been able to find a sale somewhere. My very favorite ones are fuzzy-lined (not exactly a summer shoe, however ;D)!

My very favorite ones are fuzzy-lined (not exactly a summer shoe, however ;D)! Diane how interesting - when I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis my doctor made me SWEAR to never put Crocs on my feet again {okay, I still wear them in the backyard when watering the plants...} He said no support, no rigidity, nothing stable, etc. He partially blamed my Crocs FOR my plantar fasciitis!!! How interesting! Birkenstocks are all I wore for a solid 365 days in order to "fix" my problem. Now I've branched out to running shoes with custom orthotics and Chacos. Seriously, about the only 3 things I wear on my feet. 2 plus years NO PROBLEMS with my plantar fasciitis flaring up!!! knock on wood! Isn't it funny how docs differ...so intersting!

Michelle, Clarks and Keens are my main brands these days so name those brands. Cindy, I haven't worn flip flops in years and years. Flip flops are all the rage in this area. Some of the women (at my work) are even wearing some really fancy ones to work. I've heard some really expensive amounts mentioned.......and I think " Oh! that's almost a Vagabond.....un-real for flip flops...... .I don't mean to step on anyones toes cause like DS says, " if it floats your boat go for it". ......I just prefer to spend my money on crafting goodies. Of course I'm a boring over weight old married lady with bad feet and no one to impress. Cat
