I stamped. I haven't really done this before. I didn't have an inkpad so I colored the stamps with a marker. I also had some clear Inkadinkadoo stamps but no stamp blocks to stick them to, so the images did not show up as nicely as they should. BUT, I made it anyway and it's simple and cute. Hopefully you can tell it's a shaker. I even colored the image, but don't own Copics so it's rough. I'll stop critiquing now lol. I just wanted to share

Cute, Nikki!!! Are those beads in your shaker??
If you don't have a stamping block, you can use anything plastic. I've used the clear cutting pad from my die cut machine or an acrylic ruler in a pinch. HTH Great job! Gail

Thanks Gail-Great tips! I liked doing it so I'm sure a few stamp blocks are in my purchasing future lol. I like those ideas though a lot. And yes, they are some mixed beads in blues and greens. I didn't have a lot else on hand that I thought would suit going in there so I kept the contents simple. The gems on the cupcake and sentiment are Mrs. Grossman's.

Yeah Nikkki! cute care and I love that it is a shaker! You can always use a cd case as well when you don't have an acrylic block handy. Karen

Cute! A Great Job! Nikki, I've used the flat bottoms on drinking glasses even, but my favorite was a clear pink tinted glass saucer with a decent size flat bottom and turned up edges (made a great handle) I bought at a garage sale for 10 cents. Bought it because it appealed to me.....I didn't plan on using as a base at the time......that came later I could see how to place my stamps and it was great..... I didn't buy blocks forever ( not until I found a really great sell) Crafters are really very creative when it comes to a pinch! Cat

I don't even have a recipient in mind yet. I just wanted to play haha but yes I'm sure whomever gets it will enjoy it. Thanks so much ladies for the tips about the stamping blocks. If I had given it more than 12 seconds of thought, I probably could have found SOMETHING laying around to use! CD cases are definitely abundant here so that's a super good idea. Y'all are so creative!
