I thought you all may like to add this simple recipe to your recipe books. Its a huge hit w/ Chocolate lovers! Go by the recipe that's found on the milk chocolate ghirardelli chips package or any brand chips of your preference. Make only 1 recipe, use only half of the chocolate chips in the package. Walnuts are always optional. Place the entire batter into the 10x6 greased pan, bake as normal. It does take a little longer to bake, once its done let it cool off on a wire rack. Once the Cookie Cake is cooled off, place it on a surface you will be serving it from facing up. Melt the remainder of your chocolate chips in the microwave for 15secs at a time stirring every time, do this until they're melted. Once chocolate chips are melted add about 2 table spoons of oil (your choice) stir around, add tiny marshmallows on top of our cake as much as you'd like, sprinkle walnuts (again option), with your spoon drizzle the melted chocolate on top of your marshmallows and walnuts. You can refrigerate it for about 20min's until the chocolate hardens, you don't want to refrigerate your cake that long because it will harden. Serve w/ Vanilla ice cream. Now you can use any type of chocolate in place of the milk chocolate, like white chocolate chips or dark chocolate. You can't go wrong! Very simple to make and it can also become your trade mark at pot lucks... Happy baking!
