WHEW!! Done, packed and posted. Ten days or so late, but it looks like I'm in good company (as always here).  I missed the last pickup today but they should still arrive by the weekend. Now, I have to get busy on my Fall Frenzy projects...or at least that's the current working theory. We'll see if I get home early enough tomorrow to make the ideas swirling in my head a reality. For now, it's early to bed so I can get to work early in the morning. Hang in there ladies. Gail is so right...the point is to have fun and relieve a little stress.  Well, you're doing better than me, sis. I've had mine done for a week or so now, but I can't seem to get the silly things packed up and get to the post office. Maybe I'll finally make it tomorrow at lunch. |

More pages arrived today - it's always such fun to see what's inside!!  Katie - your pages are beautiful, and your recipe sounds yummy! Thanks so much for the treat you sent - I love felt embellies! Christy - your pages aren't too thick - not to worry! They are lovely, and I'm floored that one of your recipes is a favorite of mine (hint-cherries), that I'd misplaced! Can't believe I have that recipe again! I've been trying to find it, or something similar, for months... Ladies, I think this book will be even better than the last!!  Is it cheating if I make some of the recipes before the books are sent out?? Gail |

Gail, I think that would be the benefit of hosting the swap; trying out all of the recipes before hand. Hmmmmm you hinted cherries.......I think I might know which recipe that is.....if it's the one I think it is you will love it!!! Great, Cindy, I'll keep an eye out for your pages!! The covers are basically done - they just need a little drying time before punching... Once again, they bear no resemblance to my original design! Ah, Gail, you are such a tease!! I think you have been taking lessons from Susan, too. Thanks for letting me know my pages made it. I worried after I sent them because I forgot to take pictures--I would have had to rely on my memory to remake them if they had gotten lost. Sorry, Pam, that means no sneak peaks from me.  All the better for building suspense though!! I didn't think they would be too thick but when they were all done and stacked together I started to wonder. That little extra thickness starts to add up and if everyone has a little extra on every page, well...I think I just worry too much. Hope you enjoy that cherry recipe. It is sooo tasty!! |

hey ladies - this is just me checking in...the "swapper wanna be"!!! LOL can't wait to see pictures of the pages {I am hoping you all agree to share some visual peeks at least}...and I know, I know, what your surprise is!!! Ladies even though I was one of the first to finish my pages I was also the last to finish up. I apologize for the hold up.  I couldn't decide on the recipes. It was driving me crazy. Thank you Gail for being so patient w/ me. They should go out to you tomorrow Hon. ;D |

News alert--this isn't good!
I finally talked to DH this afternoon. He's been gone for 2 weeks, with just a touch and go here over the weekend. It seems that when he pulled his luggage out of the Jeep on Monday, he noticed a package there. He mailed two boxes and an envelope for me right before Halloween. A box for a friend, the OWH letters and my recipe pages. Since both boxes are accounted for, that means that it's my recipe pages that are sitting in the back of the Jeep. In DH's secure parking garage that I don't have the security clearance to go into.
I'm so sorry guys! It was dark when he left last week and dark when he came home over the weekend. We drove my van to church and he left in the dark Monday morning. And I haven't done anything more than text him the past two days with all the crazyness around here.
He will be back Friday night, so the pages will go into the mail on Saturday morning. I'll make sure of it! I'll priority them to you, Gail. Hopefully you will have them Monday or Tuesday. If we didn't have scout plans on Saturday, I would be tempted to run them down to you. It would be a good excuse to meet!
Again, I'm so sorry!

Michelle, there is some relief though for you that you know where the pages are.
Gail, mine are finally packed up in an envelope and will be dropped off at the postoffice in the morning.
