I have just seen them in videos. I would be interested in knowing what the divas who bought them, think of them.

Ok I confess I bought two..the carnation and the dahlia I believe. And I did do a strip but haven't assembled a flower yet. I can tell you that it takes a very firm and solid hand to punch them..the easiest way is face down on a table then it was relatively easy. I usually flip punches in reverse so I can see where my paper lines up and squeeze..that provided to be very difficult for me. So onto the table it went.
I only rolled the one strip and you definitely need two as they show you in the videos. I think I gave my quilling tool away so I just used one of my embossing stylus handle to roll the paper..that proved very easy and simple enough. So sorry ladies that is as far as I got..LOL
I do have plans to really try it out this weekend. And can see that it you want the full flower affect you will probably need to layer on at least two sets of the double border strips

Karen I would like to know what you do with the strip along the bottom that is left. The flowers don't sit flat which makes them too dimensional for me. Any problem solving solutions for me? ?

So actually I think I understand what you are saying because I saw the same problem. The flower in the video makes it appear that the flower will not sit flat but rather sits up on a round disc (which is actually flat on the bottom) created from the strip. Which to me seems like ti will add more bulk to the whole thing. My first thoughts were to trim that down further or cut it off when I am done. So after I try to make a full flower I will give a better 411 on the whole thing.

This is how the CB quilling dies work. They seem very similar to the EK punches, just a different format to make the cuts. There is a round disk left at the bottom and the flowers are raised up about 1/8-3/16" Not much, but it would definitely add a bit more bulk than I would like to a LO. But I think it would be a good dimension for a card or another project... I have a bunch made up, but haven't found my flower jar yet. I'll try to find it this afternoon and take a photo.

Thanks Ladies. I will wait and see what you come up with. As of now I will sit on this very uncomfortable fence patiently.

I haven't found the flower jar yet, or any of my button jars. I think they got packed in with DD's craft stuff. They were all on the window sill about her area. I'll try to find it tomorrow--today was crazy busy with kid stuff!

Ok ladies I have pictures. So first I did the double strip overlay as they suggest. I tried a single one and it just doesn't look good. So the first flower shows the side view and you can see it does stand up off my project. I didn't care for this height too much. So I decided to unwrap it (it was wrapped the wrong way anyways. I wanted the darker pink color to be showing. As you can tell I was using dbl sided paper) and then I trimmed the bottom width down So now you can see the overall height is lower but this is a bulky flower and there is no way this will go on a layout where you don't want any or very little bulk. But is very good for cards that won't go through the mail or for projects that you tend to display. And here is just an overview of the box with the flower with two dbl strips put together.
