I have finally gotten some time to spend doing my grandson's layouts of all these beautiful antique cars we visited at a car museum near us..and I have just been loving the fact that I have been using older supplies and products. So much stuff I buy with ideas of what to use it on/for and then honestly I never get time to use them and next thing ou know I find them in my stash 3-4 years later..I am so used to having to worry about using the latest and greatest for publications and it was so nice to just get pages done and not worry about any of that stuff..I was having a great scrap day if you can't tell. I really want to get the album done by Christmas to give to him as a present. I am sure he will love it.

Go Leslie! I love the feeling of productivity and getting things crossed off the To-Do list!

I do love "rediscovering" those coveted items! I love all the new stuff, but I still use the old stuff. My style just hasn't changed that much over the years. Well, other than the sticker sneeze pages!

That's awesome! It's nice to be able to just create something that YOU want to do, not something that's intended for a blog or a contest or a publishing etc. All creating is fun, of course, but getting to choose just for yourself is the best! I'm glad you had such a great time!!

That's awesome Leslie. Enjoy scrapping all those wonderful pictures, he'll enjoy for years to come and maybe someday have them to show to his kiddies. Life is a full circle. Even though we all love to use the newest and greatest products we can always go back and look at our old stash and somehow incorporate it w/ our new items. Michelle I think most if not all off us went thru the sneeze sticker phase. I can honestly tell I did. Wow! I'm thinking about re-doing a lot of those pages.

As tempting as it is to redo those sticker sneeze pages, I'm going to leave them. Because if I think they are outdated now, what am I currently doing that I will think is outdated in a few years? I try to look at them like my 80s hair--fun to look back on and laugh about!

It IS fun to uncover those buried treasures that have been long lost in the scrap-stash! Glad you got to to do some spontaneous creations and, better yet, that you enjoyed the process Leslie!! I'm with Michelle...my style just hasn't changed much in the last few years. I find myself reaching for the same "go-to" supplies....yet I still have a room full!!! Pam
