And wondering if you all have a favorite movies(s) that you love to watch to get in the mood be it scary or non-scary
I am fond of Disney's Hocus Pocus, Love Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and just about anything with Vincent Price.
As you can see I am not into the ultra scary type movies, so what puts you in the mood?

Does anyone remember The Bear in the Big Blue House? It was on the Disney channel and it's a show for preschoolers. There was a trick or treating episode where they did typical Halloween stuff. But they sang this little ditty that I still sing to the kids every year.
We're going trick or treating,
We're shouting scary greetings,
We're wearing scary costumes as anyone can see.
They're never gonna know it's me!
Awwww... I miss Bear, Tuttle, sweet little Ojo and Pip and Pop!

Yes I remember The Bear in the Big Blue House..  Although I don't think I ever actually watched it. Yep who can't resist Charlie Brown. |

I don't know if the Goonies is considered Halloween but I kids liked that one. I don't care much for the movies that come out this time of year. I am happy when they don't show them and move on to Holiday ones.

I don't know if the Goonies is considered Halloween but I kids liked that one. I don't care much for the movies that come out this time of year. I am happy when they don't show them and move on to Holiday ones. Oh I {LOVE} the Goonies. And I don't know if you know but Mikey plays Sam Wise in Lord of the Rings. |

Halloween'ish movies...I'm with you Leslie. I like the not-so-scary ones. Adam's Family comes to mind for some reason.... I remember Bear in the Big Blue House. I totally 'encouraged' my son to watch that vs. Barney...hehehehe  Pam |

I like the classic B&W monster flicks - Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and The Wolfman. And, of course, Boris Karloff as the original Mummy!! They're pretty corny, and not that scary! In black and white, the gore isn't as obvious. I'm with you guys, the graphic slasher-type Halloween movies are too gross and scary!!  Gail |
