And here's my sister's card. (Peterpan/Christy) I was in awe when I opened mine from her. After stamping the village image and letting it dry, she coated the whole piece of paper in watermark ink and coated with clear embossing powder. Then she came back with more ink around the edges and coated with a clear, glittered powder, so there's a bit of frost around the edges of the images. This process makes the stamped image look as if it's laminated. She painted a poinsettia with silver paint and added a blue gem embellishment to the center.  I love this card - I tried to make these over Thanksgiving, but couldn't get the blue to stamp properly. Glad yours worked out, they are beautiful! Karen |

Wow! These are such great projects. I wish I was at home right now so that I could try a few of them out. The cards are gorgeous and the pickle jar is such a great idea. I love the wire and beads--what a pretty touch!

gorgeous work everyone - my card this year was just a picture, designed in Photoshop, some fun tidbits added, and then printed at Costco. I still only have half of them sent out, but Im' still working on the other stack! I admire those of you who create you own - the ones I received are just gorgeous, I am truly amazed that you can get it all done. It's the one thing that I "let go" and do the easy way for me LOL!! Love the pickle jar idea Cat - love all of the die-cuttings I've seen and the inking and hearing how you're using your supplies! GOOD JOB ladies - be proud of yourselves!!!  |
