Hi friends,
I'm so confius to choose either GlueGlider or ATG. Which is the best based on your experienced?
I like dot runner adhesive but I don't like double sided tape one.
I'm thinking to replace my Kokuyo adhesive.

I have an ATG (pre Glue Glider) and from my understanding the Glue Glider is way smaller than the ATG, easier to refill and you can switch between types of adhesives (like little sticky squares or really wide adhesive). I think when the gun first came out there were a lot of problems but I think they have been resolved at this point.
With ATG the refills I believe are cheaper and the size of the refill is smaller. (i.e. GG big cartridge, ATG small roll), I also think you get more feet per roll with the ATG.
The GG adhesive tends to be way sticky..so if you use to much etc the ATG glue tends to rub off easier. However I find the ATG is very strong. but I understand that to also be true of the GG.
Hopefully someone else can add to this as I don't have both just the ATG.

There are advantages and disadvantages to either one.
For me, the GG worked better, because of the lighter weight and smaller size...I have a bit of arthritis in my thumbs, and comfort is a factor.

For as much as I use adhesive, I chose to go with the ATG. The refills are so much cheaper and it has a really strong bond. I was very doubtful about the ATG because it's HUGE compared to the tape roller (Tombo) that I was using. But once I held it, I was convinced. It's balanced really well. I have small hands (size 5 ring) and I don't have a bit of problem using the ATG. For a while, the ATG only came in red or yellow and was pretty expensive. I almost went with the GG, but held off because they were having problems with the adhesive breaking. I'm glad that I went with the ATG. www.scrapyland.com/Scotch_ATG_Tape_Gun_Pink_p/pinkatg.htm

I'm with Michelle - love my ATG! It works great, and is surprisingly easy to handle for its size. The glue has real staying power, and the refills are inexpensive for the number of feet you get. The adhesive is solid, not dots though, so that may affect your decision. Hope this helps! Gail

I just started using the ATG and I love it!! I don't know how I got along without it before!! I have not used the Glue Glider so I cannot compare. My 2 cents worth Cindy

Oh and just one more thing if you are thinking of going with the ATG, you will still need some type of adhesive to get into smaller areas. I know when I am altering or whatnot, the ATG sometimes will just not get into the places I need it to. So for those moments I still use either my hermafix or Elmer's Craft Bond tape.
I have to say I love my ATG and nothing beats knowing that adhesive it going to make things stay stuck. I have bad experiences where the glue comes undone with some other adhesives.

I love my ATG! Like all the other response, the refills are definitely cheaper. What I really like is the permanent bond of the adhesive. Things stay put! I am also left handed and I have not had a problem using my ATG.

Are 2 rolls included size .25"X36 Yards ?

Like the others, I love my ATG - it didn't take long to get used to it. The refills are easy to install, but not as easy as a pop in cartridge.
