The QuicKutz EZ-Store works for the fonts & whispers, but what are you guys using to store the 4x6 sentiment ones? I have those magnetic sheets on my wall from Lowe's but I'm running out of space there ;P

The QuicKutz EZ-Store works for the fonts & whispers, but what are you guys using to store the 4x6 sentiment ones? ... I am using a plastic CD case that's large enough to accommodate the 4x6's...it's large enough to put the dies into the individual storage pockets...even though they "stick out" a bit from the top of the pocket, they still fit in the box.

I have mine on magnet sheets in clear folders. I stole the idea from Diane? Phyllis? I forget! I keep the Happy Birthday one in the magnetic frame above my die cutters. It's ready at a moment's notice!

I am probably the saddest organizer there is but honestly I store all my dies (except the the large nestablities size types) in a ziploc plastic baggie. I label the top left with my huge dyna label maker (using a big font so it's nice and easy to see)..then I keep all those in a little basket that goes on a shelf above me to be on hand. Now I do still have my original QK stuff still in their binders so I do use those..but everything else is pretty much in this basket..I am surprise at the amount of dies that fit in there..LOL but as I said nothing fancy.

Using a photo storage box works very well once you start to accumulate a good amount of the 4x6 size dies.

Michelle, where do you get magnetic sheets? They look like they're clear from the image. The one's I have on my wall are black.

The magnetic sheets are slid into clear file folders that I have purchased at Staples #576460
I have purchased the magnetic sheets at various places - office supply stores - michaels in a roll and cut them down - the vent covers from the hardware store and cut them down - but that last place I got them from was Oriental Trading they have the best price
Then I have glued / ATG'd the magnetic sheets to cardboard to make them stiffer
Hope this helps Diane

Yep, what Diane said!
The magnet sheets are black and I got them from a variety of sources. Most of them came from an ebay store for $3 for 10 sheets. They are thinner than the Avery magnet sheets, but then those are 3 sheets for $10. I opted for thinner! Then I ATGed them to heavy chipboard I got at Js-$10 for a pack of 30 12x12 sheets and I just cut them down. I tried spray adhesive, but it was a mess. The ATG works just fine.
The envelopes/folders are clear. I got those at Staples, too. You need to order them; it's not a stock item. But you can have them shipped to the store for free.
I keep them all in Twiggy Desktop file boxes, #10052647, that I found at The Container Store. They are covered in a lime green (!) fabric and are super, super sturdy. I knew they would need to be sturdy to stand up to the weight.

Leslie, I'm impressed by your storage method - inexpensive and it saves space!! I may have to rethink my system - I'm running out of room!! ;D Gail

I store my SoSents in my zippered CD case that I use for my other fonts.
Leslie, Ilike your idea of labeling the ziploc bags and storing them in a basket.

This is my Die-Versions Storage solution. Out in the open on my shelf, available for me to grab and use on the spot! Love it!! It's a simple bin that I bought from Archiver's. I intend to eventually make tabbed dividers for this bin to divide my micro fonts, 4x4 fonts, 4x8 fonts, SoSents, etc. Sorry about the shadows. I don't have the best lighting in my studio room at night. The desk is great....room, not so much! Pam P.S. Thanks Karen for posting the message on how to post a picture. I actually figured it out fairly quickly....and I'm not technically savvy!! Didn't even need to call my hubby for help!! hehehe!
