An elderly irate customer called the newspaper offices, loudly demanding to know where her Sunday edition was.

'Ma'am, said the employee, today is Saturday.The Sunday paper is not delivered 'til Sunday.'

There was quite a pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition.

'So that's why no one was in church today.'

It sounds like my MIL, too! Monday was DS's birthday and he got two birthday cards from her. Bless her heart. DH and I are trying to decide if it would upset her more to tell her, or too dishonest to keep both birthday checks. But I told DS he could keep both the cards!
