I been meaning to post this storage/travel idea for the DV Picks-N-Pokes since I stumbled upon it Easter weekend. I was working on several whisper die cuts I had made. (I cut several dozen then pokes the pieces out later when I just want to relax) We were going to spend the afternoon with Mom and I wanted to take these along to work on ....but the Picks-N-Pokes are very very sharp......what to carry the in???.....Hummmmm?.....While searching for a pencil box I knew I had (some where) I spied a travel toothbrush case....you know the cheapy one brush kind you can pickup at wally world and such places. OMG it was a perfect; they all fit.......a little foam pushed into one end so the points don't get bent. A perfect P-N-P travel case. Cat

Wow! That's a great idea! I have the Pick-n-Pokes in my shopping cart and I was trying to figure out a way to store them before I order them. Thanks for the great idea!

Great idea, Cat!! I keep mine in a jar, as Susan suggested, but since the jar is glass, it worries me a bit for traveling... I'm putting a toothbrush holder on my shopping list! With the "business ends" stuck down in the jar, you can't tell which pick you're grabbing. I'm thinking of either using various colors of tape to wrap the handles so I can tell them apart, or coloring the handles with Copics. Anyone done anything like this?? Any other ideas??? Thanks, ladies!! Gail

Gail, I was using a jar like Susan suggested with colored beads (without holes). They are handy and ready to use this way. I just needed to carry mine. With the P-N-P being so sharp and I didn't want to bend the points.....so necessity being the mother of all inventions and ideas in my case. Traveling toothbrush case to the rescue. I used colored Sharpies.....to color code them. I use them to color code my all keys too. It seems all my keys are the same brand; so they all look alike. I color the locking part....that way the color doesn't rub off and it doesn't affect the way the keys work. I started this years ago before I had Copics so I just naturally reached for those Sharpies. But with all these cute tapes Dani has I may re-think my coding on the P-N-P. Cat

A wide mouth quart sized pickle jar is my jar of choice. I have plently of room for the P-N-P along with a few other handy tools Now my tooth brush case is setting in among them just waiting for my next trip. ( this is so I don't have to wonder where I put it .... ....I'm sure no one else has this problem...... ) Cat

Me, too, ladies!! Sometimes, I actually buy something again that I know I have, 'cause I'm driving myself nuts trying to find it... Of, course, it turns up right afterwards!! Gail
