Why is Lifestyle Crafts re releasing a bunch of old shapes for CHA with a couple new ones? I hope there will be new shapes for christmas and such! I thought several looked familiar, too! I didn't bother to see if the size was different on any of them, but I wasn't all that excited to see them! On the other hand...I LOVE the new Die-Versions release!

I do have most of those dies already, but there are a few I missed the first time around. Did you see the heartbeat for Valentines Day?? That one is super cute and new!! I guess the concept of making available some older dies is good, but I would have liked to see more "new" and less "old". Just my opinion Cindy

:)Thank goodness for DV's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got an email from LC, inviting me to look at the blog for the upcoming dies for the next several months...not a lot of new dies at all! Just keep bringing me the fonts/SoloSentiments/sweet spots, and I'll be a perfectly happy camper!

I like that LC is making some older shapes available again, as I've got a friend now getting into papercrafting and she's happy to get he hands on some of these older dies.
I wish LC wouldn't use perfs for score lines. I love boxes & bags, but don't like their perfs. Fortunately, there are a lot of shapes offered that I'll have to get, though! And of course DV always offers "gotta have" shapes & fonts. I love the new DV Sweet Spots and hope we get many more words & phrases in that line!

I don't mind the re-release but perhaps title it separately as a re-release or something to that affect..so over here we have new and over here we have re-released as a limited chance or something like that...otherwise it seems like a bit of false advertising. I also noticed they had dies from earlier this year..again..what's up with calling them new? Ok I am climbing off my soap box now.
I do say I like the rosette die..and there are a few things that are pretty cool. I am looking forward to the some of the embossing folders.

I hear ya ladies - couldn't agree more! I think a "reintroduction of classics" would be awesome - along with some "new must-haves"...but shocking!!!! they never ask me my opinion on their marketing strategy! HAHAHA But you have to admit - that moose - LOVE IT!

I don't mind them re-releasing dies but I agree they need to be listed as a re-released die. If they changed the size....list it maybe as "older shape new size--smaller or larger. There's been times I personally loved a die but it was to big or even to small for what I wanted to use it for.

Yes, that's why I loved when I could cut some of the exclusives with my silhouette because maybe I needed it in a smaller size. I guess having less dies to choose from that I don't already have will be better for my bank account I will be looking forward to more DV releases for holiday shapes. In the meantime, I may have to snatch up a few of those new fonts!

A lot of the shapes are very familiar and are in my library of dies...good for my wallet I suppose. There are a few that I am looking forward to though: - As a northern girl, I must have that moose! I wish that it was bigger than 2x2 though...
- The feathers die
- The heartbeat border
- Some of the "punches"
Guess that I'm going to be waiting for the DV fall/holiday/winter releases for my holiday crafting.

8-)Interesting release, some new spunky dies! Like the little note that Dani wrote..... Limited time offer, if you pay by PayPal and write the code, you get a free die-versions die!

Sort of confusing with the 'old & new' all mixed together. I'm always looking for the new stuff!
I did see that 'heart beat border'....and NEED it! It's right up my alley!! I'm a therapist who rehabs patients after a heart incident. It would be awesome to use on my bulletin board at work for updates!

Agree with you all. I can remember most of my dies but to have to sift through and check to see if I already have the die is time consuming. I could not believe they mixed the old with the new like that. As a long time QK person LC is really starting to frustrate me with this release. Luckily I have my dies written down in some kind of order but to have to check each one before I order is going to take forever to get my order in.

Between Die-versions and LC releases, all I can say, " I'm making a list and checking it twice"..... So many goodies, new fonts, I even found a strawberry box die, looks like a small strawberry that you can fill! I certainly can understand why LC brought back some of the previously released, quite a few people I know wanted some of those dies and couldn't get them. There were some cookie cutter dies, like the desert box, I was interested in it, but wanted to " see" it before making the investment and it has been sold out for quite some time.

I love the moose! If they are "redoing" old dies, they need to redo this one in a 4x4! It's perfect for all of our MN vacations.

I'm with you ladies on that moose - was all set to order until I saw it was 2x2 - seriously?? It needs to be at least 4x4, maybe a CC. Darn cute, though!! I think they're doing themselves a disservice by not separating out the "classics" ;D from the new stuff. I was looking through the designs, and my eyes just glazed over with all the familiar dies - I'm sure I missed some of the new designs. I'll have to go check out that heartbeat border !! Course, what can I say, DV is my new love! Gail

The Norway collection has a sign that has a moose on it - the moose could be used separately but it is very small

I do have a die that have two moose, and they are good sized. I love moose too and they are delicious too! Dani sold Delta cuts a long time ago and had a Scrapyland moose - that was a cute moose too

That's right! I do have the old QK moose. But I like the new guy better--more like a moose and less cartoonish.
Let's petition for a new 4x4 moose!

Count me in on the 4x4 moose party! Last year I was finally able to find a moose punch over here, pretty similar to the QK 2x2 shape- and sizewise, but I'd love a bigger one. "So I am seeing a lot of feathers coming out..is this the now new OWL? " LOL, I was thinking the same, but then I realized that after a couple of years of buying all kinds of bird dies - owls, pigeons, cardinals and what not else, with or without branch, we finally need some feathers to place under the tree/branch

Oh i thought the moose was a 4x4. Seems like 2x2 would be too small!

The moose is cute! I will certainly be putting him or her on my shopping list! I also like the snowflake punches. Can't get enough snowflakes!
