ACK - looks like I am going to be the "last Lucy-Loo" again this time! And I had such high hopes for myself!

Recipe is picked, and it's printed and sized...just the pages need to be assembled. Hopefully this week I will finish and can mail out Saturday!

catching up after a vacation is dreadful - I'm so behind!!!! I'm off to blog right now, and then pour a glass of wine and hopefully get my paper trimmer out to start cutting! SOON I promise!!!! SOON SOON SOON!!!! I'll keep you posted!

Ladies, it's all good!! No worries. We've all been busy, especially Miss Susan!! Fortunately (or unfortunately!) we have lives outside of Scrapyland, which interfere with our best plans. Worst case scenario, books will get bound and mailed the week after Thanksgiving once I'm back from my FIL's. Not a big deal!!

I'm finishing the covers today - all cut out, just needs assembly line gluing!! My page is planned, and elements cut, but I still need to print my recipe and do assembly... SO you last Lucy's are actually covering my backside!! ;D I look good as long as I'm finished before the last of you is! And I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

My poor mailman just staggered up the front walk carrying a huge stack of boxes!! I wonder what's inside?? Hold on a sec...

Wow! Pages from Cat - beautiful and the recipes look SO good - one has cherries in it!!!

Next, pages from Christy. Excuse me while I get the box open.. Two more yummy fruit based salads and darling pages!

Last, a box with no return address, and no name on the pages.... Hmmm. I'm thinking these are Suzanne's. Am I right? Adorable page with little half round green beads, and a terrific recipe that my grandma used to make!

Also, a package from Dani!!! I swear it weighs 25 lbs!! My last 3 orders in 1 box: Die-Versions dies (YAY!), Sizzix TH and Framelits dies, BoBunny and Echo Park paper and Hero Arts stamps! If feels like Christmas!!!

Don't worry about the recipe books ---they can even wait until after Christmas if need be. Remember this is a "NO STRESS" project and that means you shouldn't stress over getting them out to us too!

Right now, as you can see from the first post in this thread, Susan and I are the Tardy Twins!!

I still haven't completed my recipe pages...

And, I'm still fooling around with the covers. Had a cute design worked out, all cut with my Cameo, but I need to draw in a few details, and I just can't seem to get that part right!!
Finally left them alone over thanksgiving, and I'm going to work on them again tomorrow. Hope I don't have to "scrap" ;D the whole concept and start over!

Didn't get to it today. Went to the office to "catch up" on paperwork this morning at 9:30. I quit at 1:30 (what can I say, I was starving!!), and still didn't finish, though progress was made!!

I can't figure out if there's more paperwork now, or I'm getting slower in my old age. Think it's probably some of both!!

Anyway, got home, had some lunch, and sat down for a quick break in the LR, Nora (one of my cats) jumped on my lap. settled down, and fell asleep... So, I couldn't possibly move - I was catted!!

By the time she decided to set me free it was getting time to cook dinner... I have a million excuses!!! ;D anyway, the time to relax was just what I needed.
