We're leaving bright and early tomorrow AM to drive to my father-in-law's for Thanksgiving. I'm taking a break in the middle of cooking and packing, and wanted to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Unfortunately, I'll be "off the grid" at his house, other than my cell phone...so wanted to post while I still can. I will probably go through Scrapyland withdrawal while I'm gone!! (But, yes, I have packed a stash of scrapping supplies to work on Christmas cards while I'm there!) Oh, yes, and there's a few craft stores nearby in case I run out of anything! Hope everyone has a relaxing, peaceful time with family and friends, and remember, the day doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful!! Gail

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Gail I have learned that a day filled with 20 some people, old and young, crammed into a tiny apartment cannot be perfect!!! As long as we eat and no one kills anyone we have success Actually we have a great time. It is all good Cindy

Happy Thankgiving!!! I'll be busy working on cards too. We still have Thanksgiving at Mom's so we will be carrying food and cards making supplies. We'll eat, visit, and make cards all day long. (Some will watch football with their eyes closed) Then it's back to work on Friday as usually. Then back to cardmaking on the weekend. Cat

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, everyone! If you're traveling, be safe! If you're cooking, may the grocery lines be short! Also, if you're cooking, remember to use the oven mitts! ;D And, most of all...count your blessings!

have a great week everyone! Safe journey Gail! it's just the three of us here at home this year - small and quiet! I offered to make pizza for the boys, but my son finally hit the whining point last night and I bought a small fresh turkey this morning. It's cute little 9 pounder - I've never bought or cooked fresh so this will be an adventure! I'm working extra hard this week so that I have blogging and emailing and office work all done because FRIDAY IS MINE! I've given the boys their to-do lists {pull ornaments from attic and garage} and told them they are on their own until the football game comes on. I'm scraping and playing with a little purging thrown in there. This stack of paper scraps has taken over the corner of my scrap room! happy happy days everyone - I wish you and yours a great holiday! I'm thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful, kind, friendly, funny, sharing girlfriends every time I log onto Scrapy Land! and where would we all be without Dani! THANKFUL for the man that makes it all possible! Be watching the blog this week - fun last minute ideas showing up on Scrapy Land and Die-Versions!

Right back at all of you....have a safe, relaxing and fun time with those you love! Bill and I are laying low this Thanksgiving.....trying to recuperate from multiple time zone changes and long plane rides on our 9 days to Hawaii that turned into 11!!!
So much to be thankful for, that's for sure! Enjoy your holiday!

Well I obviously have to lay low this thanksgiving since I just had surgery, but we are having a few people over for dinner since I can't travel yet. It should still be nice to see family.

I have the next 5 days off from work! Since we are not having Thanksgiving at out place this year, I can relax, hopefully work on some Christmas cards, and relax some more! I do have to make a caramel pecan cheese cake for Thanksgiving dinner at my Brother-in-laws, but that's about it! I hope all of you have a safe and relaxing Thanksgiving with family and friends! Karen
