Just wondering what everyone is up to or working on? Have your Christmas decorations up yet? Got your Christmas shopping done? What about all those home made goodies?
I am hoping to get a tree this weekend, still working on Christmas cards and hopefully would love to have those done and sent out by next weekend and debating on whether or not to put up my Christmas Villages (I shudder at having my grandbaby making a mess of the snow and little odds and ends...I had to put up a barrier around it for Halloween when he visited..just not sure whether I should opt out this year or just do it..LOL)
No baking yet but soon. Going to see the Lion King this Sunday in the city and next weekend a trip to Monterey for dh's Christmas party (his boss does a grand event) and some how I need to get a dinner with my dd and grand babies so I can catch up. We won't be here for Christmas (going to Oregon to visit the in-laws) so would like to see everyone before we go.
So what's everyone doing?

I'm almost done with Christmas shopping...trees are up...no baking started yet...need to pull out the rest of the decorations and 2 christmas parties on my calendar, along with my 2 kids band concert tomorrow night. I need to get moving with less than 3 weeks until Christmas!!
One of the parties is a secret santa party for my daughter and her friends. We put together names for them to draw who they would buy for by printing all of the names, wrapping them around the stem of a candy cane and tying a green bow around. They picked their candy cane, unwrapped and found out who they were secret santa for. They turned out cute!! And I think were a big hit with the girls!

Boy you girls are ahead of the game with all your Christmas shopping done. I am usually good about that but this year I seem to be off center for some reason.
And Pam that is such a cute idea for a Secret Santa.
One year we did a $5 gift exchange which was a lot of fun. You couldn't buy the same thing for everyone and could combine for a couples gifts. I think that year we got some great gifts, it really challenges you to think about the person and bargain shop. One was my little Cricut Spatula that I still {heart}.
