Fess up what are you working on right now.
I have some 4th of July Tee shirts in the works..well actually one done and the other is messed up so I am trying to rectify it.
Next in line I am going to attempt my own Yosemite Shopping Bag. We went there and I was highly disappointed with their versions so I bought a canvas bag and going to try my hand at decorating it with my cameo.
What all's going on in your art world?

I'm thinking about working on a Fathers' Day card, but haven't put my hands on any paper or dies, yet. It will definitely involve some DV's, and I have a possible plan in mind, but figure I still have a couple of days to get it assembled...right? ;D

I am working on a shadow box made from an old letterpress drawer cut down. It is so fun!! I am using October Afternoon papers so I love it!! I am also trying to design something to cut with vinyl and put on the wall in my bathroom. I would like a phrase or something I just cannot commit to anything yet And I am working on collecting Fiesta plates for my kitchen!! I know they have been around for a long time but I just broke down and bought some! Food looks so much better on them Cindy

Food looks so much better on them Cindy I agree with you! I switched to Fiesta last fall when I took a good, hard look at our old plates (scratched/chipped). The Fiesta quality is great and there are so many pretty colors! ***Sorry, Leslie...I think we just hijacked your thread for a minute!

I have been trying to get my dies out of their packages and into either binders or mounted on pages with vent magnets to hold them in place. Ashamed to say I have not even put a dent in the unopened packages. Happily, I found my QK dies (can't believe I didn't write the name of the set- came out a couple of years ago) to cut card bases so I am also in the process of getting a stash of card bases ready for all purpose usage. MIGHT (gasp!) even try to get a start on Christmas cards.

CHRISTMAS CARDS? ?? oh be still my always late to the party heart!!!! I currently am obsessed with making t-shirts with my Silhouette and iron-on tiny. My 13 year old nephew and I are both Type 1 Diabetics and we both have a slight obsession with snarky Diabetic t-shirts. So to avoid having to pay for them {expensive!} I am making them: "Does this insulin pump make me look Diabetic?" "My pancreas runs on batteries, how about yours?" "My pancreas is lime green, what color is yours?" and the best one {for me only}... "Type 1 Diabada$$" no dollar signs, letter s instead...you get it, kind of naughty - but that's how I roll when we're talking diabetic matters! HAHA I have the font all set, and the sizing all figured out, so I just drop in a phrase and hit CUT! I love it, and according to my nephew I'm the best aunt in the world!!

Christmas cards....ack! I don't even think I can think about that..wow I am bowing to your bravery.
Susan I am with you I just made a few more tees for the grandbabies. I love how the Cameo with vinyl makes it super easy and cheap to make.
Cindy I definitely want to see your drawer when your done..sounds fab!
I have a sign I want to make my dd for her bathroom..took a photo of the cute sayings I saw in England..she has 3 boys and it kind of hit home with me..stuff like if it's wet hang it up, if it's up put it down, etc.

Halloween cards and cleaning out my scrapbook supplies.... Tossing dried out ink, old markers (I will never refill them) donating paper. You get the idea. And cleaning out dies that I will never use. Time to move on and declutter.

Jenn, it's nice to hear from you! Both of us seem to always be in "clean-out mode" at the same time! I'm going through all of my craft drawers/shelves/containers and removing the things that realistically I will never use again, or if ever. Fortunately, I have 3 or 4 different places to donate the stuff, so if I can just stay motivated, I might actually be aware of what I do have and will use when I am done! A friend recently told me that she asks herself, "If I were getting ready to move, would I take this with me?" If the answer is "No!", then giving it away should be easier! (And this applies to more than craft supplies, obviously). I hope your sorting is going well!

Hi! Well I decided to start with the dried out supplies. Why overwhelm myself right out of the gate. And we do seem to be sorting at the same time. Hope you are well.

I am also cleaning. Two closets done and working on my scrapbook room. I just finished my 10th grandchild book. They are 12x12 and about 30 pages=60 sides. They get one when they graduate 8th grade. As soon as the 4th is over I am moving to the basement and will be laying out my 4 children's books. I did Vol 1---5 years ago. (1967 to 1981) That just included my 4th child being born. So it's time to get to Vol 2 or maybe Vol 3. I have it all marked in boxes just have to sort it out real good. So that should keep me busy till Christmas. Needless to say I don't make Christmas cards just to many to send. I do make all my other cards though. It has been a busy summer in WI so far.

I have THOUGHT about cleaning/de-cluttering, does that count?? My shelves are over flowing too and I do need to pass on some never-to-be-used goods to others. I just cannot seem to bring myself to start the task Cindy

I am usually not done until I give it away LOL I am making these for Christmas for my sisters. It takes me soooo long for every detail that I need to start now!! I added a knob tied with crinkle ribbon to the smaller navy square and 3 layered butterflies to the butterfly square and I am calling it done!! They are so fun to make. There are so many different things that can be added. I love putting the old and new together, lace and metal, soft and rugged, bright and weathered, it all fits!!
Thanks Cindy
