I'm working on a Valentine's Day type canvas and a watercolor card, but I'm having problems with both. They are not as easy as the instructions say!

I made 3 cards and a lay-out. I e-mailed them to Kristina, to post them in the Flickr gallery (I don't have and don't want a Flickr (Yahoo) account)

I haven't heard anything else about the crop's end. Did anyone else post? It's a shame there weren't as many participants as the last crop. Summer is just a difficult time for things like this.

I did, but Kristina didn't post them in the gallery ór I cann't see them. Do you have to be logged-in to see them? In the July 26th and 27th blogposts cards are shown with the text "Check this out on our Flickr Account" but I cann't see these cards. Can you? I see your (Missmarie)contribbutions. I see a total of 15 photo's. Can you see more? If not, I don't understand why my photo's are not published. Why didn't anybody said something of the contributions at the end of the cropchallenges, saturday 26th? When there are so little contributers they must be glad for the few who did participate!

All I can see are 15 photos, I guess the same ones as you. I think if you are signed in to yahoo, you are signed into flickr. I tried logging out of flickr and it logged me out of yahoo, too.

I am very disappointed with the July crop. So far as I have seen, there were only 2 participants. That is a very poor showing for all the work that the design team put into making the challenges for the crop interesting. I'm sure they are disappointed in the poor showing. But, the design team has not said a single thing to the 2 people who did participate. This shows poor grace on their part. What has happened to a once great team?!

Yes Missmarie, I'm also disappointed. The design team did a lot of work before the challenge, they made great things, but we didn't hear anything afterwards. I think they even didn't see my contributions because Kristina (Steelergirl) didn't post them for me. They are not very active on this messageboard nowadays. I also cannot comment your contributions because I only see a photo, no possibility to say something. I liked the way the crop was organised in May better: you posted on the messageboard, so anybody could see the contributions and could make a remark on what you saw. This time that was not possible, you even could not see for which challenge the photo was. And you had to become a member of Flickr (Yahoo) and I don't want that, I don't like to share so many personal information on the internet. Second reason to like the Maycrop better: on the messageboard it is more organised. I missed the weekend itself and made my contributions later that week. It was a lot of going back and back on the blog to see all challenges. In May we had every challenge on a special thread, you could see all challenges in one glance. Today I got an e-mail: SL Team Leader Call "We are looking for someone with experience running a challenge blog. Your responsibilities will include leading the team, coming up with challenges, organizing the team, etc." I hope it will be better when they find a teamleader. I like this challenges very much!

I would still like to see your contributions, Anke. Would you post them here, please? It' probably the only way you will be able to share them. I agree with your comment on the organization of the message board crop vs. the blog crop: It was much easier to see and follow the challenges on the message board, and you knew which projects were for which challenge. The only advantage of the flickr postings was that you could see all the entries in a single place (although you had to have a flickr account to do so).

Thanks for posting, Anke. I love the hexagon background! You turned it into 2 very good looking cards. The Z-fold card is great, too! It looks like a honeycomb to go along with your bee card. The colors in it are gorgeous! And I see you used the hexagon again in your layout. (You get your money's worth out of your dies, don't you!)
