Since Ansa said it was so frightening to join I decided to take the plunge as well. I have been making cards for about 6 years. I started there to build up my self confidence before attempting scrapbooking. My scrapbook has 4 pages in it and I am working on 1974! Just a little catching up to do. But who can find the time when there are so many cards to make and tools and toys to play with.
I am a QuicKutz (sorry, Lifestyle Crafts) addict. I have a ton of dies, the squeeze, the revolution, the Epic, BS Express as well as the Cricut and Silhouette. I am also just beginning to use the Spellbinders and have not mastered the look yet. But I will not give up.
I own a business and find that there are not enough hours in a day to work and do all the projects I want to do. Sleep has become optional! I am very productive between midnight and 4 in the morning.
So I will be brave and ask the question - what is the diva thing? I see that I am a wannabe but I am not sure what it is that I wannabe! Can anyone shed any light on that subject? I have been a customer of SL for a long time but I don't know what the title means. Thank you.

Hi Tracy! I'm so glad that you decided to take the plunge and join us! The "Diva thing" is directly tied to your post count. I forget how many it is to each level, but I believe it's 750 to be an "official" Diva. It's not anything that really means much, other than you spend a lot of time here! It's just meant to be fun. I look forward to seeing you around! You certainly are well qualified to be a Diva! Michelle

Hi, Tracy, and welcome! We will do our very best to "help" you add to your collection of QK (a.k.a. LC) goodies. And if you're not yet addicted to Spellbinders, we'll take you along with us in that direction, too! The Diva titles are based on number of posts. When you reach 750 posts you become a full-fledged Diva, with 5 stars by your username. There are Diva Wannabes, Student Divas, etc. You'll be amazed at how quickly those posts add up. One of the Divas started a thread that said "Ask me anything", so we innundated her with questions about where she lived, how many in her family, how long she'd been crafting... anything that wasn't too awful-downright personal, and she built up lots of posts in one evening! Just jump right in and keep posting... Dani prefers that we keep it pleasant, and that we don't advertise our own businesses, or talk about products available on other websites. Also, if you learn about a release that hasn't been officially announced yet, keep that secret! (Talking about it on the MB can get Dani in a whole heap of trouble)! Also...don't forget to visit Susan's Blog! Of course, then you'll want to buy everything she shows us, but you won't be alone!

Hi Tracy, I´m happy that I can also say welcome to new ones on the MB. Glad that I joined, especially if it has helped you to do the same. Nice to hear that I´m not the only one buying all kind of new gear and not having enough time to try it out. Ansa

Welcome, Tracy! Diane did a great job filling you in on the nuts and bolts of the board. This is a great group - helpful, creative, and funny! You'll get lots of great information and ideas on Susan's blog (in fact, I was a customer who read Susan's blog faithfully for about 6 months before I took the plunge on the MB, but I'm glad I did!). I find it amazing that I feel that I "know" so many of these ladies that I never met in person. Looking forward to getting to know you! Gail

Thank you for explaining the diva process. I needed one more "collection" so I guess it will be "posts"!
I appreciate the warm welcome. I suppose I will eventually figure out who everyone is since you don't use your real names. (Did I break a rule already by using mine?!?) I still feel as if I am intruding a little bit on your territory but I will get over it.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I have been sick since Monday morning so we have not had our Thanksgiving dinner yet - the pounds are still waiting to jump on!
Have a great weekend.

Tracy, its fine to use your own name! You've probably noticed that many of us who use a different "handle" as our screen name sign our posts with our real names...but its still hard to keep everyone straight!! (Some of us keep a list of screen and real names by our computers so we can keep track of who everyone is. but I won't name names! Glad you're deciding to take the plunge. Its fun, and most days I learn something new! Happy Thanksgiving, and hope you're feeling better soon! Gail

Hi, again, Tracy! Have we enabled you a little bit already to expand your "addictions"? If not, just give us a few more days...and you'll be saying "Hi, I'm Tracy, and I am a [fill in the blank] addict" (just like the rest of us! ;D) And in case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm Diane (the "other Diane", since my twin is Diane in NH), and I'm a SL addict!
