OH NO! I wasn't at home last night to be able to log onto the messageboard.... I joined, so I hope I made it into the top 25.... I think it should be the first 25 to join the club AND those who contribute the most to this board that get chosen on the design committee!!!! I hope non of the invisible users got into the top 25!!!

We already have a lot of people who joined the club. As you know the first 25 which I have already identified will get the chance to work together to come up with a Quickutz Exclusive die. I will be sending a PM to the lucky ppl a bit later today hopefully. We are all saved, thankfully Laura did not make it to the club so we will be able to work very well

I love everyone's enthusiasm, but I am confused. Yes, a tote is nice, but not worth 30.00. I already have the Florida die. I can't be in the first 25. I would have to buy 8 exclusive dies at 25.00 a piece to get my 30.00 back and you don't even have 8 exclusive dies. The number of discontinued dies I would have to buy is pretty large too....and I have been collecting for a long time so don't really need that many to fill in my collection. What am I getting for my club membership again??? The tote??

Hi Betty, Thanks so much for your support! I am going to play with you now! Do you like Jelly Bellys??? My favourite is Watermelon with Pina Colada coming in a close second. I don't think that Dani knows how to play. He hasn't learned that yet! Laura. <><

Hi Cygnet, I just think he is too busy to play right now.
But I will play with you. And yes I like jelly belly. I love watermelon flavor and strawberry.
Thanks for asking. Betty/navymom05

Hi cmtconway! Welcome to the MB! I have looked around at almost all the stores offering the QK Club. I think that Scrapy Land has the best deal on the club. As far as I know and I may be wrong : - all Clubs are Selling the 6 month membership for $30.00 - many are offering a free gift of some sort The diffences I see are that Scrapy Land so far are SL - is offering a one year membership at a reduced price - 15% off Exclusive Dies saves me money - 10% off retired saves me money - unlike some people I don't own many - extra opportunities to save on all QK purchases , Scrapy Land already has reduced prices that some stores that don't offer 10% off. So I will be getting to save extra money on my purchases. - the first 25 members atre getting the chance to design an Exclusive die. Yes it may be just for 25 people but is an exciting idea that could lead to other opportunities here. - the members had an input on what gift should be offered I too own a Florida Die but I am sure I have a friend who doesn't. Perhaps this may not be the right QK Club for you. For me I see a savings on things that I want to buy anyway. Apart from the fact that the customer service is fantastic here as it may be at other stores but I can reach the staff here at a much more consistant basis than I have at other stores and they go out of their way to work thing out for me. I have custom ordered here with no hasssl and that makes me as a cutomer feel important. These things are important to me. I don't speak for anyone else. I am a Scrapy Land Cutomer and QK member here because again they offer more for my $ with a friendly service. Laura. <><

I ditto everything cygnet said, plus you earn scrapy points for every $1. you get $2. and at the end you get to get something for just earning points for anything that you buy here. No where else has that. Just my opinion.
Thanks,Betty/navymom05

Cmtconway - I think the main benefits of the club are (i) the special savings offers that will be sent out to club members periodically as well as (ii) the lower buying thresholds to earn the club exclusive dies. If there is an offer to buy a $100 item 30% off, the club will have paid for itself. I too have compared the various versions of the club other stores are offering, and this one seems to be the best deal I've seen. Don't forget about the rewards program too - no other store has that.

Everybody makes his own decisions and choices, as an overseas member I trust Dani so far that this membership will be worth to take part. Ever heard of benefit of the doubt? ! Yes, ok ;-)

Guess somebody's karma will not filled anytime soon. PS: It is so nice to meet you too.

I belong to the club at my LSS. They offer good classes on how to use different die's.. They offer a 20% discount on any Quickutz purchase but like I have said before the inventory they have is truly sad compared to what Dani carries. Also there prices with a 20% discount is what Dani sells for everyday without a sale.
Right now they are selling the Silhoutte for 369.00 and they will not let anyone apply the club discount to the cutter because they say that the price is already discounted.....Dont think so!!

nope just stay at home because you have enough money so you don't have to work, and off course have a cleaning lady to do the housework, so you can do whatever you want whenever you want..
Eh...does the name Victoria Beckham ring a bell??? But then not that extreme

Ohhh, then a lot of women I know in Santiago, Dominican Republic are 'leisure ladies'...that's what they all do! Sit around, go to the country club and parties, church, supermarket, etc while they have a cleaning lady at home (and a cooking lady, an somebody to wash clothes, and a driver (sp?)and sometimes even a gardener...that beside the lady that comes to the house to give you massages : , come to think, my Step MIL fits the profile. ;D ;D

Yes, I could quite enjoy the life of a leisure lady! You know how people say they could just never not work because they would be bored at home?? That is so not me!!

True, I always said that if I would win a fortune in the lottery I would keep on working if only for a few days.
But probably not at the job I am in now. Maybe I would do some charity work with children or so. Something I would feel good about!!! Doing crafty stuff at schools or shelters. To keep their mind off of bad things in their lives

I think I would quit my job. It takes more hours than I get paid for and I feel like I am not getting the satisfaction from it that I would like to get from it.. oh well.. Can't have everything.
I am thinking about the charity thing too.. but only if I win the lottery.. moolah has to come from somewhere!!!
