Hello, I'm "Mommy", and I'm new here. I'm really new everywhere... this is the first time I've ever written on a message board, and I have no idea what/how to do it!!!.  I've been a Scrapyland customer for awhile, and a quickutz addict for a little longer. I have to admit to being a lurker... so I feel like I know several of you... and you all seem really nice (one board I've visited is so mean that I'd dare not join/post!!!) ... I wanted to join you! My name comes from my daughters' friends (almost 15 and 17)- they call me mommy Nordin, or just mommy. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and spend a week per month with my mother in Arkansas who recently lost her husband (my stepfather of 40 years). She is 86 and lives alone... she is loving it, I'm worried to death  . I live in Georgia with my husband, two daughters, two dogs, one horse (who is stabled nearby) and a home that always seems full of kids... just the way I want it... I'd rather them be here... though the guys sure are hungry all the time! I'm anxious to get to know you all better, and share information... although you will be sharing more than me... my husband says that I'm a just a "shopper"/that I should be using what I buy!!! Who has time???  |

Welcome, welcome. I'm a notorious lurker myself, but have caught myself talking away. In fact, just got my second star and became a Junior Member. If you hang in there, it will happen in no time. These ladies are just the best. You'll love it here.  |

Welcome....we are alot of fun...sometimes silly but heck we all need that right. I always had kids hanging out at my house when my daughter was in High School and I loved it. In fact some of her guy friends still call me mom when I see them around town.

Welcome to the board Mommy you will find that you will like it here, You will get to know alot of us, we have a bunch of wonderful ladies on this board, that won't hesitate to help you ever need it.

Welcome Mommy, I am waving to you from Canada. We have a fun International group of lovely gals here on the MB. Nasty people just wouldn't feel at home. I think you will find everyone friendly and interesting. I am hoping that when Dani aka Baby Face gets his server on the job that we will have a great Gallery. Of course I will need full instructions on how to get to it!!! LOL Self named Computer Dummy here!
I so hear you when you would rather have your children's friends at your house. That is the way i like it also. We always know what they are up to. We have been investing is Teen Magnet things so that they want to come here.
Those boys do eat you out of house and home though! I always have to keep extra food and snacks around for the Teenage Boy Syndrome. They all appear to have it!
