Hi Gals & and well yes hello to you too Dani, I am back today! First of all welcome to all new members. I am hoping to meet you and learn a little more about you when I see what I missed yesterday. Welcome from Canada, I am waving at you all! Secondly! Thank you all for trying to email me and worry about me getting into the 1st 25 members of the QK Club. You how how much I love you all. Even my new friend on the board ... you are all too wonderful. I was talking to the "Big Cheese" yesterday and last night about some Alphabets I have on layaway and he had told me the scoop ...... So I didn't miss out. I was Ill yesterday and only came on the MB a couple of times. This really sticks in my throat to have to say...... " Thank you Dani for making sure I didn't miss out! " ARRGGHHHH I have an aweful taste in my mouth now!!! Have to brush again a few times. I missed you all but am feeling 70% better today. My DH had all his tests done and will get the results on Monday. He said they were all very quick and the tech didn't spend alot of time in any area so we are taking that to be positive. Thank you all again. Laura. <><

5AM? Yes, you do need to sleep in a little! I thought children were suppose to start sleeping through the night, after about 12 -18 months! My daughter woke me up almost every hour and I could have strangled her! I was so tired! She needed someone to go with her to the garage while she was putting her clothes in the dryer! She decided to wash clothes in the wee hours of the morning. She was afraid that someone would see her through the windows

Cheryle, I was so blessed that by 5 weeks my children would go from 11:00-6:00 so we got our sleep. I will let you in on a secret Dani gets up at that time for a Bottle for himself. Shhh... Don't tell him I told you. I promised him I wouldn't tell when he let it slip. Guess he is not old enough for a cup yet or coffee either. <><

Lucky you!!! Our eldest didn't sleep very well and after more than a year we found out that she had nightmares due to her medication :-( And now they keep me awake because they go out to the disco or movies with friends and I don't sleep untill they are home safe :-) Once a mother, always a mother!!!! :-)

Hi Minoes, My youngest was 10 pound 13 ounces so I think that helped her go for a long time without easting. My eldest was 7 pounds 12 ounces and I think it was by the grace of God he slept through. I have only 2 children and they are now only 13 and 15 so we have the late nights out still ahead of us. You are so right once you are a mother you are til the day you pass on. What a wonderful Blessing though! Laura. ) <><

I am glad to her that Pamela, When they are parents they will understand. I always tell my children when they ask ( it's usually my daughter) that I trust them. I just don't trust the world. Boy things have changed since I was young. We did things I would never let my children do. Or their friends if they are over. Their friends parents are just like me thought and that takes the wind out of my daughters sails! Laura. ) <><

my daughter actually surprised me not long ago and said she did not mind so much anymore even if she does have her own apartment because she knew I still cared where some of her friends hardly saw or talked to their parents and they lived a few blocks away. I told her I knew she could go back out again but at least I could fall asleep and know she got home from work ok. you just dont stop being a mommy.
