OMG that's hot ;-) We had temperatures like that 2 years ago when we visited the Black Hills (SD). Our airco wasn't able to get the temperature any lower and being in the car comfortable.
Hope you have a swimming pool in your yard so you can jump in once and a while :-)

YUCK!!! Now you know why I love to live in my Igloo in Canada! I wish it was fall all year and if I can't have that I will take winter. I will be thinking of you Pamela as you melt. Just the thought gives me the creeps! Have a really cool bath before you go. It keeps your body temperature down for a long time. That is what I often do. Laura. <><

You won't be alone, here it's suppose to get 103. Of course, it's Arizona summer. Try to stay as cool as you can. We can't have our leader of the card exchange melt into a puddle.

Don't feel bad, at night when it's suppose to be cool, it could still be 89 at night.
The weather has been really hot in Texas and we have had no rain, they say it's gonna rain, but no luck, the surrounding cities have been on alert as the temperature raises to heat index of 104 or 105.
That's hot.!!!!!!

Can't imagine it that hot! Went to Vegas one year in July and I think it was around 115, but it was so dry. I think I'd rather take the heat then this humidity we have in New England. Try to stay cool and enjoy your golf game!

Other than a hole in one, no point. Guy thing for sure, just glad they "chose" us. Can't live without out em and never want to. Give hubby a special hug and kiss. We go thru the same thing. I want "dies" he wants "golf stuff" I play his golf game (and love being with him/enjoy the game too he lets me buy/play with my die cuts. We both win and have fun...tho, how many golf shirts does a guy need? Seven days in a week, and we do laundry...wait..will not go there with die purchases....okay ...we're par hubby.

I have to admit I have nothing with golf. I played midget golf when on vacation in Austria.. In fact my parents, brother and myself made it a game to find a midget golf course in ever littple village or town we visitted.. so I've seen my share of midget golf courses... Haven't played in years!!!

O my, you are really good playing golf!!! I never succeeded in playing PAR, but most important reasing is that I don't have much time to spend on playing golf after I finished my scrapprojects, LOL :-)
I am invited to play golf in September when I visit the family, they play at the Golf Course nearby Garritson, IO. Keep you posted about my score :-)
Meanwhile I'm busy with kids who play golf and do take part on competition, last year the team ended to be 2nd so we go for the 1st place this year!!! ;-)

Well, I WON MY FLIGHT!!!! DAY MONEY YESTERDAY, 2ND PLACE DAY MONEY TODAY AND LOWEST SCORE YESTERDAY...WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Best part was I won my pro shop money....ordered my new golf shoes as if I needed another pair but why not I liked them...lol more golf balls, a swing shirt and gloves....my husband was laughing so hard because after the awards presentation I had my money spent in less than 5 minutes....I love pro shop money! Beth, I dont know how good a teacher I am but lets play golf!!! I do know a few female tips that golf MEN don't think about they just assume women know or can do. Do you think that is there way to keep it a man's game? hmmmmm lol

Minoes20007,
Congrats to your children. I hope they really enjoy the game and will always love to play! I hope they do really well at their next tournament. I love tournament play but to me it is just pure fun. I have played with some that take it tooooooo serious and they seem to have such a bad time all day because they make 1 bad shot. HELLO it is only a game.

Congratulations Pamela! You have to be a very good player! Good for you my friend. I don't suppose that the have QuicKutz in that Pro Shop do they??? That would be my choice but then again you would have to keep you golf equipment in good order. I am glad you made it through without sun or heat stroke! Laura. <><

We will do it. I love playing for the fun of playing! I have a friend named Patsy that nobody wants to play with because she is 85 years old, very slow and can only last 9 holes and she can't keep her score very well anymore. You can tell she played well years ago. But oh my word she is a hoot. I am usually sore from laughing so hard. Ladies like her is what makes the game for me so much fun.

Anyone 85 and still playing this "game" is Queen of Queens ~ I'm just hoping I'm still around at 85, let alone playing golf. To heck with scores. Next time you play with her, give her a hug from a true fan of hers now. That is so awesome.
