no electrical cutters in my house. If I would decide on an electrical cutter I think I'd go for the silhouette.. Hey I am a QK Addict...

No electic cutter here either. A friend of mine is toying with the idea and I decided to watch her experiences before I decide ;D Meanwhile I' happy with all the dies I have. I'm afraid anyway I wouldn't be able to stop buying dies, so why spend the money for another tool...

I think you are talking about the Sure Cuts a Lot software- and I do have that. It is great - allows me to cut any TTF, however, I usually end up reaching for my dies. I'm trying very hard to make better use of my machine. I rearranged my crop area and have a nice spot for the bug, so maybe I'll use it more now.

I have the Cricut, but haven't used it much since I got it back from the third time I sent it because of problems. The novelty wore off after that. That's why I got the Sil. and I actually had to send that in once.

I got a Cricut for my boys to use when Walmart had their incredible Black Friday sale after Thanksgiving. It is so kid friendly that they love it. We have made some fun stuff with it so far. I do have the SIL too but I haven't hooked it up to the computer yet. I'm not doing any scrapbooking right now. (My "baby" just turned 2 so I haven't had time yet but am starting to more and more. I have been organizing my photos trying to gear up again to do it.) I haven't broken the news to my hubby yet that I have the SIL and that it needs to be hooked up to the computer. Figure I'll wait for that little conversation when I can actually use it. He won't be happy!

Laura,
Where have you seen the kit that lets you hook the Cricut up to the computer? That sounds interesting.
I have a Cricket and that is what I used before I started by Quickutz craze and have hardly used it sense. I have looked at some of the cartridges at Scrapyland and strongly thinking about a Holiday one.
