Poor Cheryle. We are overcast with showers today. The rain is just making it more humid. I can't stand it. We don't have the A/C on either and I do not know what I am going to make for supper. It is too humid to put even the stove top on. I think I see Tuna Sandwiches, Caesar Salad and Watermelon on the menu! Laura. <><

OK Angelique, I am spending the summer at your place. I like cats and I will leave my baby Solomon at home ( he is hibernating anyway ) so I see no problems. I let you know where I am flying into and the date and time. Talk to you soon. Laura. <><

;D Laura, sorry to say but my spare room is filled with lots and lots of home improvement stuff. No place for a bed in there. I can only offer you a very uncomfy couch with lots of scrapstuff on it... Oh... maybe you can sleep in my bed.. then I will take the couch. But you'd have to share it with two kitties.. lol

Cheryle, I will send some nice ice cold pieces your way. I spoil my family and cube. It will cool you down! I love Fresca in this weather but I have to be careful as grapefruit is a no no for me. Water is my best friend. <><

Then maybe for a golden autumn, Laura - they grow wine, where I live and it's nice to watch the grapes being harvested... Seriously, we're in one of the warmest places in Germany here, it's about as hot as Lyon, which is located much more south in France. There are lots of places in Germany with climate similar to what Angelique described.

That is okay Angelique, We have a king size but my husband hates the fact that I keep anything I may need in the middle. I have, at least 2 bottles of water, Ibuprofen, Chap stick, Dictionary, My daily devotional, Bible, Tic-Tacs, antacids, a face cloth ( Dry) Box of Wet Wipes, Box of Tissues, Vaseline Paper and Pen, prayer sheet and my Novel I am reading at the time. I also have sleep apnea and have to use a Cpac machine for sleeping so my very attractive mask is there until I am ready to go to sleep. So you see a couple of cats is no problem. We have a Tabbi that sometimes sleeps with us too. I am easily pleased!!! Laura. <><

When we were at the Westin Seattle, it was very interesting to see people checking in with their little Cpac bag. It made my mom feel better that she was not alone! We had a large room and although we can hear the machine when she sleeps, it kinda hums us into a deeper sleep.

Hi Cheryle, I love mine. I take it everywhere I go. I was tested for Sleep Apnea because a nurse in Hospital told me I should be tested. I was always so tired and had no energy for years. I would fall asleep at movies, church, driving as a passenger, visiting, dentist chair, hair dresser waiting room, everywhere. I just thought I needed more sleep than most people and the medication I had started was making it worse. I went to a sleep clinic and they had me turn off the lights before 11:00 pm. They woke me at 6:30. When i got the results from there I found out that I had only gone into REM sleep for 1 hour 40 minuets and during that time I had stopped breathing 49 times. Ni wonder I was tired. I am going in 2 weeks to have my air level adjusted as my family tell me I am snoring lightly again and I shouldn't be able to. I remember the first night I slept with it I felt so so good the next morning and had so much more energy than I could ever remember. I highly recommend that people get tested and use this wonderful machine. It's not pretty but it saves lives and adds to the quality of life so much! Presented by Dr. Laura. <><

Cygnet, another thing we have in common I also sleep with a cpap machine. Every night my husband tells me Luke I am your father, He won't let me go to sleep until I say that.
When I don't wear and I am being lazy, boy do I regret, I wake up nearly choking and not being able to breath or talk or say anything.
It makes my husband so nervous that he gives me water and tells me that I have to calm down, but if you've ever had one of these attacks you know that it is not easy to calm down, because you are gasping for air.
I have had for 2 years now because like you I was always tired.
But I got you beat, I stopped breathing 77 or 87 times, I forgot I kept the paper, because I didn't believe that I had sleep apnea for a long time. I just thought I swallowed wrong at night.
But after it kept happening over and over, I mentioned it to my Dr. and that is when he said I needed to be checked.
The rest is history, I have to sleep with it, but lately it's not doing it's job.
Or I am not letting it do it's job.
