It is basically sealer for all sorts of projects. I was using it to adhere my patterned paper to some chipboard. Its like glue.

I use it for non-Scrapy crafts. I am making a Knee table for a little guy I know right now and sealimg all the deco and writing I have on it so he can't pick it off. Laura. <><

No Not really. There are more things that I wouldn't use it for than would. Why not search it on Google. You will have a better idea! Laura. You sure wouldn't want to use it aper to paper as it is too wet. It goes on White and is clear when it is dry. <><

Virginia it's more a lac/lacquer than a glue. Over here it's used for decoupage, but we must have a different version. I always thought Mod Podge was water based All the stuff I use doesn't smell and can be washed off with water before it's dry. Maybe another "victim" of the more chemosensible Europeans?

Barbara, That is what it is sold for mostly here in Canada! I have no oder with the brand I use which is...... What do you know ? Mod Podge. It says on the front of the bottle " The water base Sealer, glue and finish for all surfaces." I have the Matte finish. Perhaps that makes a difference in the oder? I just smelt it and it is quite mild but my sniffer isn't always sensitive to some smell. Laura. <><

That's exactly what I have but I've used it in my room (=no ventilation) a lot and haven't smelled anything. I admit I'm pretty cautious with solvents or other chemical stuff.

Mine is the paper one. It is in a blue bottle, and it smells icky to me at least.

Besides feeling icky, it gives you nasty headaches. Hate that. Next time, if there is one, go by a window or go outside.
