Is that because LSS's are going out of business? I seems that the clock & this are items that would have been in a retailer not a "private" collector such as us. BTW...I had to look closely to be sure that the bottom piece, that looked vine-ish, wasn't a border die...or I may have been tempted!

I know I have a TON of dies and although it's cute, I am NOT ready to sell my dies so I guess I'm safe.

Maybe it is just being shown for sizing purposes???

The seller on this item is the same one that sold my daughter the clock, and it came with a QK Corporation address label on it! Maybe they printed up a bunch of them, and then had more than they had dealers to give them to...sometimes the dealers have to show up at a "function" to get the toys, according to my lss owner.
I may not be a platinum dealer, but I sure am a platinum owner, if my collection is any indication! ;D

I've never seen that item before and I have been a Platinum retailer since they started with the platinum designation. I am going to ask my rep if that is real!

Oh, Dani! You are bursting us QK addicts' bubbles! I would be more than willing to be an E club member! Don't know if I should be embarrassed or proud of myself , but I've been a member of E exactly 4 years, October 2004 & I just obtained my purple star for 500 feedbacks! So, my newly exposed QK addiction has helped my E addiction also!

That kinda reminds me of the plaque that Sherri got, it wasn't exactly like that but it could be an old one

I got a reply from QK. This was one of the prototypes for the plaques they gave out. They where trying to figure out how it got out as it wasnt distributed6 to any store. But it is a real QK item. Maybe a real collectors item???

Maybe a real collectors item??? They ought to be checking on how it got out, and then maybe follow up with the clocks as well...I don't know about the other two on this board that got second chance offers on the clock, but the return address on mine was a PRINTED QK corporate headquarters label. I assumed that the seller was an employee, and the plaque is being sold by the same seller as the clock! (Sorry if I'm being redundant here, I'm just trying to be clear! )

Interesting....they are probably doing their spring cleaning and want to make some cash in the attempt. I understand the clock, but who would want a Plaque that says ....retailer? To hang it up where? Is a thing like that ever gets home it would end up on the recycler bin. Weird
