On another MB, someone said that they saw some interesting at Hobby Lobby - Has anyone been to Hobby Lobby lately?
Does anyone live near Hobby Lobby to check this out for us?
10-Oct-2008 5:20 PM The other day I was snooping around H.L. I noticed that they were getting ready to put out some new QK shapes. As I was looking at those tags they put on the hooks...I noticed that some of them used the term "exclusive" on the bottom of the tag. BTW>>>>There weren't any of the new dies in yet Has anyone else noticed this?

I was at HL just this past week. Did not see this info there but they were thinning out the QK that they had out there. I will have to make a trip out there later today and report back.

Hi Cheryle,
I live about 20 miles from a HL. I will check it out next week and see if I see anything. They have been re-stocking and it has been a mess in the store. They have very little QK but I will do some investigating.

Good morning everyone, I saw this post yesterday and my curiosity got the best of me. So, I went to HL yesterday and they also had several tags for exclusives. They also had several tags for Rev. dies that I don't beleive have been released yet. I also wrote the product codes down to reference on the QK website and I was only able to find one of the dies. It will be very interesting to see what they are going to have for sale.

They sell a little of everything. When you are a jack of all trades you are not a master of one. I only buy papers and adhesives. For dies and die tools the internet is best. You get a better deal on SL. At least at my HL, they only dedicate a endcap for QK.

When HL first started with QK, my lss said that they were told that they would only have old stuff (like 3 months or more old). Well, I guess a lot of rules have changed... and my fav lss is going out of business! I still doubt that they will beat Dani's prices, especially considering the Club discount and his great sales! (I almost wish the sales were not so good... Dani, I did say ALMOST!) Now, I have to check it out too!

I went to HL this morning after dropping the kids off at school. There was the "normal" QK stuff there. No extra spots for anything else yet. I did notice that they were going to start carrying the 4x8 alphabets though. That is new for them. They had the papers you could pull and take to the register for them but they were on the side barely noticeable so I bet they haven't done anything at my HL yet. I will keep an eye out since I go to HL quite often and keep everyone posted.

Isn't it a celebrated holiday there, Columbus Day, no school, work, mail, etc.?

It is a holiday but we did have school and all the surrounding schools did too as far as I am aware.

Received an email from another MB poster about what she saw/wrote down from her local HL. Any one interested to know, PM me. Also, if anyone can confirm any of these it would be appreciated. Don't want to start a QK frenzy for nothing!

go to www.craftsetc.com, search for exclusive and add them to your cart. Then the images show up. Only ones not working are the apple and shapes dies, because they're sold out (!) Here's the deal. The crown is the same as the crown club die, the airplane is the same as the 4x4 that was released with the baby shapes not to long ago, only this one is 2x2 size.. and I don't like them others that much.. so I am safe!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

I picked up a QK die at HL on clearance today and a cuttlebug die for $2.70. Of course I don't have a cuttlebug, so I hope I can use it on my Sizzix.
I asked the girl about the QK exclusive and she was clueless.

I asked the girl about the QK exclusive and she was clueless. Maybe they are related to A's, since the different stores seem to have different stories!

I asked the girl about the QK exclusive and she was clueless. I use the little Sizzix and the cuttlebugs and cuttlekids all cut real well; for the Big Shot you would need that big adapter that we used to have to use in the old Sizzix "hand pump" one.
