I can't remember who was looking for the Giraffe? There is on listed on e_ _ y. I don't know how much you are wanting to pay but it won't be $19.99. I think that was the original price. Can't remember now. I hope that this post is okay. Laura. <><

Laura, I was shocked to see but that Giraffe is already at $50 and there are still 2 more days to go. Have to say, it's my favorite of the A's animals though!

I absolutely love that little giraffe and would like very much to have one, but I won't pay that much. Way over the top.

I want one. Originally I ordered two of each die (one for a scrappy friend from this MB) and after taking my order they cancelled it and said that they only allow to have one per customer and that I was basically lucky that they let me order 4 (one of each) because they were not supposed to.

I want that giraffe really bad but not enough to pay the $66 it was last I looked. We took a girl trip up to Atlanta in the spring and went into an Archiver's and one friend and I both grabbed the last one they had and I let her have it because she drove the 6 hours it took to get there. Bummer! Vicki

Girls, unbelievable! The A's giraffe is at $80 on the big e with only 2 hours to go. WOW!!!! It's increased by $20. If I were to purchase it from ebay, I would sell die cuts for my return on investment. I wasn't expecting to see it go that high. It's such a cute die and Imaginisce has a really cute new giraffe rubber stamp that matches it. On a side note, I hope someone is not suckered into the buy it now for the "New release" and think that the giraffe is the same as the A's giraffe.

I have noticed recently the vast number of bidders on QK stuff have 3 * in the middle of their user names. Like a***t or b***r, etc. All the bidders on this ridiculous auction have names like this. I have been watching this one seller place auctions for the Revolution Abigail, Beauty Queen, Washington and Journal over and over and over and over again. I find it hard to believe she or he has unlimited number of these alphabets. They are always won by a user with the 3 *'s in their name. Always. Then another set of these auctions pops up because I am sure she is not getting the price she wants for these. I bet this giraffe will pop up in the next couple days in the hopes someone will think, gee this is worth alot. Just things I've noticed lately. Vicki

Hi! I am not an Ebay expert but I think Ebay blanks out the full user name for security/privacy and puts the *** instead. I think only the seller can see the full user id.

Hi! I am not an Ebay expert but I think Ebay blanks out the full user name for security/privacy and puts the *** instead. I think only the seller can see the full user id. Yes, during the bidding process, ebay has changed how you view the bidders name for privacy - At the end of the auction, you can see all the bidders for an item. Sometimes it takes the 2nd letter of the ebay name and the last letter I believe. I have seen the winner identified on most auctions have it has ended, but the bidders may still have their names shown as how ebay had coded for privacy - sometimes people contact those bidders and ask them if they want to buy an item like the one they bid on and try to go around ebay. On very high $$$ auctions, I'm not sure if the winner's name will be shown. I thought it was someone bidding to increase the price one time - it makes me nervous when I see someone with (0) feedback bid - because you never know if it is a serious bidder or not.

I have been following this auction too out of curiousity....
i would never ever pay that much for a day anymore... Did that once.. for the KS-0107 bunny 2 years ago... that's when i realised I must be crazy.. so now I have set a limit for myself and I hardly ever go over it.

Did that once.. for the KS-0107 bunny 2 years ago... that's when i realised I must be crazy.. so now I have set a limit for myself and I hardly ever go over it. Last month, I was tracking a giraffe for sale and it sold for around $66.00 and the bunny sold for $81.00. It's interesting to watch the auctions and final sales. I'll never forget when I saw a teacup sell for around $96.00, there were three bidders that really wanted that one!

Angelique, Like me "Hardly Ever" is the problem! <>< Not with me it isn't... lol I got a nice deal on ebay not too long ago. A binder, Empire classic UC and another undentified mini UC for $ 90 !!!! It was part of the goodies that were a bit delayed in their journey over here.. So I hope to be able to identify the font next week. I hope it will be the empire mini though... lol I figured this lot was well worth my $ 90!!!

As I was only interested in those couple alphabet auctions, I didn't notice that ebay has changed the bidders names for all auctions. Interesting. I still wonder when a bidder has 100% of their bids on only one seller. I guess someone wanted that giraffe bad. I always shake my head when I see how much the tear bears have gone for. Way too much money for me. Vicki
