Well once in a while I need to be a proud father and show off my kids' accomplishments. Well this past week my 1 yr old son gave his first steps. By today he is almost running. Isnt it amazing? Well now he will give us a run for our money. He seems to be a real boy! Loves to destroy stuff

Congrats on one of his major milestones! You're in trouble now!!!!
My grandson has been walking since 8 months - his mom started at 14 months - why the difference? Everyone carried her and when the "princess" wanted something, they would bring it to her!
He loves to push things! We got him the fisher price lawnmower that makes bubbles and he loves pushing it on the sidewalk or the back yard. Another fun thing that he loves pushing is his giant yellow Tonka Truck. Where he gets the energy, I don't know!
Enjoy! Your best days are ahead of you with your children!

Isn't that just the most incredible moment, Dani? When my first son took his first steps as he walked between my husband and I, I was laughing elatedly and my husband was crying. It was a priceless moment!

Oh! How exciting for you and Rose. I found that once they could walk they were much more independent. These are the precious moments you never forget. Another great Milestone for him! As long as you don't have stairs your cooking with fire now. Enjoy it all! What does his big sister think? Congratulations - Next Step is the Car Keys. ;D ;D ;D Laura. <><

My boys love to look at their scrapbooks - I highly recommend starting one for each, even if only a real simple one. My 5 year old lost his first tooth yesterday and the first thing he said was "Mom, can you save it for my scrapbook?"

yeah I will have to tell Rose to do it for them. So far we have gotten as far as making the regular boring picture albums, a baby book where we write some facts/milestones. Scrapbook should be the next step. Truth is I dont think she would know where to start.

It's so much fun to watch them discover their new freedom, and how quickly they get to all of the things that we thought were safe, because they weren't within reach just a day or two ago. Have a wonderful time!

Scrapbook should be the next step. Truth is I don't think she would know where to start. Tell her that she is already in the right place, in the candy store, in Scrapyland. Next step is to start opening those goodies and testing them with cardstock, for the rest, we can tutor her. In case that she becomes a QK addict, we have Angelique (President of QK anonymous) to coach her. Is a plan, vamos!

G & B my two little monsters Oh, I have my 2 y.o girl (turning 3 on Tuesday) and she is all over the place. To say that about an hour after she was born the nurses were trying to change her diaper and she wouldn't let them! She has been in the "terrible twos" since the day she was born. Now she says that she is going to be a Rock Star! A rock star? with such a girly-girl mom? ;D Here is my little trouble maker Camilla
